You should only gamble with money you can afford to lose. In the long run very few people have accounts in profit. How many rich gamblers have you met in your life? Betting on Pakistan cricket matches is stoopid, they are as corrupt as it gets.
If it isn't working for you find another hobby something which will be more productive.

I love people saying "You should only gamble with money you can afford to lose".
It is like invite to defeat and being happy about it.

Learn MUGS - YOU should only bet when you KNOW something about event!!!! More the better. Specialize, give bribe, I don't know, just don't rest on luck.

You should leave your bedroom and get down stairs as your mum has your tea on the table...............

no scott ofcourse not. That is sad that the value has come down that much. That is the case when it comes to property and real estate... prices always fluctuation. Hope the value does go up again.

I reckon you should get a life. Change your routine, exercise regularly, try have sex with a real person. All these things should help.
Asking people on a gambling forum for advice on whether you should move countries is beyond stupid.

hoops agree about excercise and routine change. Sex is there anyways when you go clubbing and meet women. I ask on the forum for valuable opinions cuz I know these guys and some of em speak from their hearts and speak the truth.

Without trolling -

I bet only on English and Polish league (sometimes sometimes Spain or Italy but when I'm watching and for low stakes), I read a lot, I watch, I know a lot. I've been here many years and lost lots of money and only recently I came even (I had long rest after that :)).

Pick your area and stick to it. Don't make bets only to bet. That's bet habit.

tony I won 411 euros on over 3.5 goals in that match. If I watch that then I will miss my funds further more.

paul I agree with you 100% I need to learn lessons from this. But honestly it is soo tough to take some decisions in sports betting. Right now I'm consciously reading everything you lads are saying and taking into account and hopefully it will help me to change and learn. Change is a must.

I bet on major european leagues ONLY. As soon as I have a bank of 2k or mroe I indulge in obscure league matches... I know my **** but sometimes I put big stakes in mug games completely out of over confidence... it has to stop.

Go steady, I know exactly how you feel, I lost 1400 pounds as quick as you can say horse racing is straight. I now have had a bit of luck and got my losses back, I hope you do the same

What I have started doing is even if I see what I consider to be a good bet I leave it, I now bet selectively and only on the odd occasion, I used to bet every day

I hope you get things sorted out

Something else you must give much thought to is - Is it worth doing anything in life that may well drive you to despair if things don't pan out in your favour

I'm connecting with all you said inono. Talking about the betting part there are many times I try not to go with wht I think is a good value bet... but another part of me is like "you have money if your sure go for it and suppose in hindsight it comes in then you will give yourself too much **** about it" in I go after... they come in sometimes but sometimes it's a disaster. I agree it's not everything in life... it is sucking my blood out... probably cuz I'm very emotional and sensitive by nature. If I wanna be in this I gotta be rational and strong mentally. I noticed during the times I win that my mind is never says enough is enough... it tempts me always to keep going. A human being has unlimited wants and sadly when it comes to money  the temptationjust goes over board.

Douche - if this bit is actually true then forget finding a new winning strategy, you need to get some help.

However on the subject of your betting, you seem to bet mainly on football yes? But earlier you staked over a third of your bank on a one day cricket match. Do you know much about cricket or did you just bet for the sake of it?

I just seem confident while winning but when I lose a bet or two I cant handle it.

I know a lot about cricket... I backed 275 runs or more for pak who had a strong batting line up... see the fall of wickets... couldnt get a chance to trade..I didn't reduce exposure during the 100 wicket stand cuz I normally do it towards end of an innings...

no coach not about being proud or feeling "Big" I started with 20s in 2009 then in 2011 I got to 150 and nowadays 250 max bet on evens or above.

Couldn't get a chance to trade, or didn't want to because greed got the better of you?
I can't blame you because we've all done it, but you could've easily traded out for a nice profit when they were 130-0 after 27 overs.

biscuit that is very true but I rarely check the prices in play while betting un less I get a chance to green in this case I was playin fifa 12 and started watching the game at 163-2 still had a chance to trade but wanted to reduce maximum winnings on 275 runs or more back and as less as possible on the lay. I didn't think it would trade soo low soo early on while in a 50 over match you see. That pretty much led to further downfall from there.

Appologies upfront here, please just stop crying like a little girl. We all win and lose here. End of.

If you have gambling problem:
a) Quit betfair completely (forum inc.) and go to get treatment to help get over your problem.
b) Deposit some more on and chase, but please dont come crying again when you lose that.
