i didnt see the black and white of the thread, i remember coming across it now and again but didnt look intoo much detail. But if he is posted his bets on that thread and all the maths works out he is in profit  with the bets he stated and the stake he used - how can you dispute anything when the evidence is there in black and white?

I have never disputed that the thread is in profit.  But a profitable thread doesn't necessarily make a profit long-term.

My tipping site, that you objected to so much you broke down on here Laugh made 15 points plus a month or you got your money back. You stated why would i sell my tips if i was making a profit.

Is that correct?

If you bet regularly for any length of time you will have experienced what I am talking about

Have you ever said "I KNEW that was going to happen" followed by "wish I had put more on now"?

How about recognising in advance that the bet you are about to strike is huge value by noticing that the feeling you got is the same one you got when this happened before? Would you still not put enough on?

Sorry u want some.  You've lost me.

What's your day job, btw?  Still plumbing?  Or are you full-time professional betting now?

I am a profitable player and I am willing to take any edge I can get.  That includes selecting certain bets from Dennis that make sense

there is the answer 'u want some'. Mr Angry has said that that thread is in profit. End of conversation. No-one can no, long term if its in profit or not because no-one no's the future. But the thread was in profit - case closed.

only real reason for visiting the forum is to see if any edge is being presented by others, obviously one person can't cover all angles on ones own, not with so many markets available.  networking is an edge

Mr Angry i proved i could make a profit on this forum, albeit not over 2 years as dennis did but i knew i was better than the majority on here. So i thought i might as well charge some monkeys for my tips, so i did. You stated that nobody that had winning tips would sell them, that is wrong. My bets were placed and the tips would be sent out via email, the price would not be affected as my bets were placed before the email was sent out.

You kept saying put more money into your bank if your so sure of your selections but you cannot bet £100 if you only have £50

And that is a very good reason to use the forum.  Not to sell s scammy tipping service.  But to share ideas and knowledge.

So after these two years you must have a considerable bank now.  Enough to almost retire on?

Ice King exactly,

I see many threads, tips and 'free money' on here.  Most I discard as the reasoning behind them don't make sense.

Those I take I always acknowledge the tipper in the thread.

I have only been back on the forum for a couple of days, signed up a long time ago and never posted, but it does help to hear what others have to say, even if it is to discount things.

That is one of the reasons I dislike people just knocking other peoples tips for the sake of it

that's what is so good about Marias Forum and the OLBG forum, they are there to help each other.

This place seems full of people just desperate to see no one else win and to laugh at anyone who says well almost anything

sad

without going all "Jedi Mind Trick"

I do indeed search my feelings when I am thinking about bets. My main betting is on horse racing and in particular handicap races and I will cogitate for time and whilst cogitating I pay attention to my feelings. If I get a certain feeling its a bet. If I get another its a BIG bet...

if this is an area you have not worked on I really recommend you think about it

very similar to my horse bets, the more I get "zee" felling the more I am willing to stake.  Once placed, win or lose, do i ever think that was a bad bet but will always analyze a losing bet to see if i missed anything. Impulse betting is almost always doomed to losses

I see it like "recognising the nuts" in poker which is an important skill - for any three card flop there is a set of two hole cards that form the best possible hand

when you are looking at a possible event to bet on, recognising when one of the options represents the nuts is a valuable skill - using your feelings can be a useful and consistent way of finding these nuts bets

then you need to be able to step in and crush it
By:
Forest000

Bad example,  there is NEVER a nuts bet in betting

The nuts is when you can't lose

its only an analogy thanks very much designed to help explain what I am talking about

the term nuts is borrowed from poker and only meant to represent the situation I described earlier ie when you get that "I knew that was gonna happen" feeling

of course there is no nuts in sports but recognising when your unconscious is telling you "this is a good thing, get on" is a very valuable skill

well i agree, as last night I played poker and sat with a loss for the better part of 8 hours. In two hands at roughly 3:30am I crushed it, two full houses in a row and walked away with the money, over two-thirds of the £2500 pot. And I got "zee" feeling big time. I knew when to make my move and it paid. The other four players were left stunned to say the least.

You'll have to forgive TSO Ice, the concept of actually leaving one's house and partaking in an activity that is not PC-based has played havoc with his mind. This thread is utter tosh, TSO is a 2 quid better and has admitted as much in the past. He admitted that all of his chat about being a high roller was invented. A truly worrying individual.
