you never tipped any market/selection ever. even with your style you have to select an outcome that will shorten in odds

By your implicit acceptance that your previous username was paul, in various incarnations, any interpretation of one evening's dialogue is irrelevant.

Whilst I have not had the dubious pleasure of your attentions, no doubt because my P & L did not merit a sycophantic pm, no-one is going to spoon feed you.

Although some of the more altruistic forum members have given you more clues than you wave a stick at, and fair play to them, you seem to ignore them, and bemoan your own misfortune.

Regardless of your dismissive attitude to others success, I wish you well.

Read, learn, think, and then think some more.

And if that is too much trouble, at least ensure your vitriol has an element of humour, otherwise it becomes childish drivel.

before the match starts a team/person is likely to win/lose is clearly understood from its odds. The stupid question is asking how confident you are in tipping an evens bet. But during in-running you do get certain clues as the match progresses and patterns (higs and lows of mental strength) and market over-reactions. This is where a smart pro can pick the value odds. My main strength over the years is reacting faster than market in realising its true value(recently getting tougher as there are more sharks than mugs). I never had fast pictures.

Well yeah miami, indianapolis, st louis, all vying for the first draft pick next season, wouldnt surprise me to see one of them go 1-15 this season, so always worth opposing, but Jets got it done comfortably and were around 1.36 ish so quite happy because the Jets arent always convincing the last two seasons when they should have been and I had my largest bet in a while riding on them.

From what I've read the Colts really fancy Andrew Luck in the draft, which means they could end up 0-16 or 1-15, he seems to be rated as a rookie that could become a franchise quarterback.

Yep the boy from stanford looks a class act, very cool in the pocket, i think quite a few teams will tank it..in order to get him.

Sanchez can be alright, he's kind of on the edge of being decent and then he'll **** up and throw half a dozen interceptions, there are a few guys like him, he's not a top8 guy but he's capable of having good days. I like the packers though, not that I'd call myself a fan, but Picked Aaron Rodgers in my fantasy team 3years back and had a dabble on them to win it last year and they did. I dont think he quite gets the credit he deserves, for me he's been the best for the past 2years.

the good thing about American footy is, generally form and home advantage play a part, so yeah the odds are never as great as they could be, but I feel more confident on a 1.4 shot in the NFL than in most footy leagues.

The actual risk involved is not as big as u thought, rather it is les risky than sticking a couple of hundereds in for an evens shot. if things didnt go ur way, u can easily trade out of ur position at differnt times(which is the reason for putting this bet, not a big heart) of the game losing only a tiny proportion of ur stake as long as some very strange and rare event dont  happened; which btw will be offseted if u have been doing this quite often. u just have to know what u are doing.

henok it is a big risk, last season intermilan 3-0 up back to 3-3, arsenal 4-0 up back to 4-4, this season celtic 3-0 down back to 3-3, it happens quite often, he risked all that money for small returns. MENTAL

So £27k at 1.04 then the other team scores you are £27k red on the draw/away with 15 mins to play and Barca price 1.36

the game losing only a tiny proportion of ur stake

so lay barca for 3k meaning barca win break even, draw £24k red. So you say you only risking a tiny proportion of your stake means??

As i said it before, as long as u are not sat with ur hands tied to ur pocket u can substantially minimize the risks. the above mentioned and countless many other strange things happen everyday in football, however as long as u have an eit strategy u his losses are lower. i am not saying it is 0% risky but it is managable. as an advice if u can set aside ur emotions and fears, try to have a cold minded calculative attitude when u are in betfair. If u have read u25k advices, that is what he does - profit from peoples wmptonal reactions. no offence intended  u25k, i am not saying ur cold minded person in real lifeLaugh

If not barca vs plzen I would have not staked 27k. I must say it is crazy. That is the reason I don't keep big balance in account. If I think it is good bet I just go for it.

My father died this year and I was genuinely hurt but could not cry (everyone cries though some acts in India). Tried hard and got few tears in my eyes but not enough to flow out. I read in Internet to know whether I am normal or have any problem. I found it is normal and emotions are expressed and controlled in various manners. There are many people out there who don't cry when parents or close ones die.

u25k do you donate some of your vast wealth to the poor kids of India holed up in their god forsaken shanty towns, waiting on a miracle, where clean water is a luxury and decent food is as rare as a tottenham trophy parade! let me know I'd hate to think of you sitting in your 12 acre garden of a morning with a cup of coffee and newspaper with your feet up watching the kids play whilst your fellow young citizens are are deaths door scratching around bins looking for something edible to eat! to quote an old Indian proverb "The most beautiful things in the universe are the starry heavens above us and the feeling of duty within us." let me know,
