"Celtic, like Barcelona, are more than a football club. Our clubs are a symbol of a culture and community that has not always been made welcome in their respective countries."
Xavi (Barcelona midfielder) "Every professional footballer should seek to play at least one game at Celtic Park. I have never felt anything like it" Paolo Maldini (AC Milan & Italy legend) "When I was at Porto my team also played in the UEFA Cup final against a Scottish side - but it was Celtic. I've never seen such emotional people. It was unbelievable!" Jose Mourinho (ex-Porto Manager) looking back on thae UEFA cup final 2003 (May 2008) "The Celtic fans are incredible. It is always great to play there." Ronaldo (Man U & Portugal player) Nov 08 Ferguson isn't scared to say it - at the post match press conference he said, talking about the CP atmosphere: "We [Man Utd] would love to have an atmosphere like that, but..." and then doesn't say anything else. Says it all. Alex Ferguson (2008) "I fell a bit in love with Celtic, because the atmosphere was amazing and the crowd was magnificent, the way they behaved with the Porto fans" Porto manager Jose Mourinho "The incredible thing was the people, for an opposition player it is quite incredible, i have not seen a better atmosphere from the grounds I have visited" Steven Gerard (Liverpool player) This place makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, there is nowhere like it in football, and I can see how the people love to play here and speak so highly of it" Eto (Barcelona player) Xavi: "Celtic, like Barca, are more than a football club. Our clubs are a symbol of a culture and a community |

Fast flowing football again in paradise, expect to win the league in a canter (10+ points) will get found out early doors in Europe though.
Clean sweep at home, league, scottish cup and cis cup treble Hail Hail ! got the europe side of things correct anyway, only a terrible standard in the spl of late has made lennon look good with this side although even on that level we are failing. If we fail ti win the league considering the state of the current rangers side....well it doesn't bare thinking about |

A Celtic fan on Talksport today was saying that the Celtic under 19s won their league for the umpteenh time last season. Every one of them was released.
As for Rangers, they produce talent like Danny Wilson and he fk's off to Liverpool, another loss for Scottish football. It's going to be a long road to recovery for the old firm and therein lies another problem.....the fans attitude that my dad's bigger than yours. I've advocated for years on here that the old firm should be in the premiership to get a slice of the Sky cake. Only then will the old firm be able to compete in europe. Let's face it, there's no point in being two of the top three biggest clubs in Britain, when the p!sh they serve up is not even championship standard. |
By:
PS Jim McClean is on Talksport around 12 noon onwards. I can't wait to hear his viws on the current problems. A proper football man.

1 point i make here
why is danny mystorevic playing last night and o`dea is out on loan. |
By:
who would want the old firm down south. There would be too much trouble. Never going to happen, end of debate.
By:
fck this talk about changing leagues
By:
trappatoni plays odea for ireland but aint good enough for celtic.i just dont get my head around this one
By:
There is more chance of Gadaffi being invited to the whitehouse than rangers or celtic being invited to join the Premiership.
By:
Don't need an invite. Sky will decide.

Platini saying Celtic could be reinstated on Tuesday.
I'd take that, no shame. |
By:
are u serious?

By:

By:
ah rite so sion will probably get a fine
By:
turkey chucked fenerbache out
tbh i dont think we deserve the place , but the money will be handy ![]() |
By:
jesus snake that clown last night cost us
By:
Turkey had to replace Fener with Trabzonspor or UEFA could have taken the place off them all together.
UEFA can be tough, hope they are on Tuesday. Don't see why Platini would mention kicking Sion out if it wasn't a good possibility. Sion knew there was a chance of expulsion if they played with the disputed players and went ahead and done it. Hope UEFA are suitably annoyed. |
By:
sion done it because they knew they would bat us if they did and take the chance
should have been 100% confirmed before the game anyway.joke how this can hang over a game |
