greenock is far too quirky and entertaining to be the worst place ever and it has a lovely location. clear it out, knock down a few estates and it would be great. it must be a big reality check for those folks disembarking after luxury cruises though.

you cxan pretty much draw a ine across the country ,starting somwhere around hereford in the west and taking it across to the south of Lowestoft on the east
By and large with a few exceptions either side you can say that the area south of that line is pretty much OK Harrogate ,York,Chester,Lincoln ,Durham,Edinburgh,Whitby,Beverley,Lake District (i'm sure the scottish western isles are lovely) are a few of the nice areas north of that line i've visited |

Saying "London" shows total ignorance. Many parts like Stonebridge, Southall, and lots of south & east london ARE sh1tholes but other parts are paradise by comparison. Hampstead/Hampstead Gardens/Highgate are lovely and houses there run anything up to £40mil+ There are plenty of other nice areas in London too. There are huge swathes of London where you cannot even buy a house for less than £1-2mil, and that's not because they are slums!!

Ignorance. Couldn't agree more. I lived in London for 30 years in many different places. There are massive differences in areas only a few 100 yards away. You might as well say England is shit because you had a day trip to Dover.

then u have places like hampstead, some parts of richmond, kensington, u know uve made it if ur living there |

Larne - Sh1thole that is rotting away and would be forgotten about if it not for the port. 90% of the traffic is people doing driving lessons, the other 10% is joyriders. Horrible horrible place.
Lurgan - If you ever hear anything about sectarian trouble in NI, I would guarantee that this backwater of a town has something to do with it. Never met anyone from Lurgan who didn't harbor sectarian views. C unt central. |
