By:

By:
Is it a reverse ski jump event???
By:
it is towcester race track and yes it really is uphill all the way. on the long chases of 3m 5f + , they go round 3 times and then horse and jockeys take a cable car back down to where the weighing room is
By:
ofcourse you can still lap on this circuit. Just cos it's uphill doesn't stop cars overtaking.
By:
if the circuit is a circle...................point a is the start...........say point b is the highest point......
how can u get back to point a to re-start the lap without going back down? |
By:
people are just being silly now
the original question was its name and i want chadler and punter to explain what they mean cos theyve lost me totally |
By:
but u dont go down punter because the traffic is sent only one way - and that way is up
By:
I am still looking. But when you turn around and go back down the track it looks a bit like this:

By:
to get back to the start to do another lap, how can it be all the way uphill?
By:
Probably fishing, but who says the track has to be round?
Newmarket's both course's are not circut courses. |
By:
Towcester
By:
are you thick sprocket - if you were going to do 57 circuits and never descended, you'd finish about 200 miles above sea level! pmsl
By:
circuit would indicate this Kev ?
By:
Rockingham Motor Speedway surely
By:
not literally back the way, but your heading towards back to where you started to repeat the lap
are we talking about horse racing or formula one? |
By:
NO TRFC, it is a circuit - not round but a circuit - the cars lap - so it has to be one way
punter and chandler are just being confusing i think |
By:
wtf has this got do do with association football go post on the racing forums you plum
By:
goodwood hill challenge
By:

are you thick sprocket i don't know |
By:
It CAN go uphill the whole way as it's not a circle but a circuit. So when they turn right and then left, that is how they get back to the start again without going down. I think?? Confused a bit now.
By:
the only rising circuit would be a velodrome as mentioned before
By:
Eko has t - makes more sense than what those two are spouting
By:
Ben says its a circle cos u need to do laps
By:
I'll get my coat!!
:( |
By:
coat?
By:
i understand if its a one way circuit but Ben is not saying that
By:
Not a circle as in round but a circuit - yes it's laps
Eko has it - you twist and turn and it gets u back to the start - but it's all uphill its a famous circuit but cant remember its name - never expected all this |

Am i getting reeled in lol
The confusion is that by being a racing "Circuit" The start line must be also the finish line. If you had of said track or course instead of circuit there would be no confusion. |
By:
i swear it is a circuit
By:
royal rebel is correct.
You only have to watch a race from Towcester to see that it is uphill all the way round. Don't beat yourself up trying to work it out. |
By:
The name of this place is on the tip of my tongue. You do laps of the circuit and the finsh line is always higher than the start line. I hope that clears it up.
By:
it's not towcester
