Haven't posted on here for almost a year. In Dec 2010 I decided to go back to work....just incase the money from betting dried up. I've been working since that....taking a few months off here and there. I'm now contemplating taking some time off again.... The great thing about having a second source of income means you have the freedom to leave a job if it isn't working out.
Anyhow glad to see alot of the regulars are still about and making money....what with the increase in premium charges. 285 profit for today. |

Last Week 08/04/13 - 14/04/13 Gross £-7,464.36 Commission Generated £3,949.21 At least I made a 'profit' last week, otherwise it would be 4 losing weeks in a row for the first time ever. |

buzzer, I was doing the horse racing out of interest, to see if I could learn something about trading that might be useful elsewhere as well. To be good enough there to make decent money would take such a massive amount of practice, I don't think it's worth it. I also don't intend to bot anything horse racing related yet, too much to do in football.
viva, I think it's both. The markets tend to get more difficult over time as competing pros get better, so you have to improve to stand still. |

Sunderland v everton 2.5 has about 50k matched at half time even though it's on radio 5 live.

And the swansea game has higher volume on the 2.5 than on match odds, very unusual as well.

A similar month to March, v slow and v steady, happy to end with an ok profit but should of been so so much better was + £1400ish going into the 28th & then had another stupid day were 1 trade/bet goes against me and then i chase & come out in a deep hole, undoing a months hardwork. Seem to have 1 or 2 of these profit blowing days every month!!! So frustrating and something i need to stop, sharpish!

Nice work Gazza.
Liquidity terrible again for the 3pm EPL matches. Recently it's looked like the high quality matches have been absolutely fine, but the lower quality match liquidity has been dropping like a stone. |

My manual trading is mainly over/unders, which has been quite poor on some of the smaller (but good) matches such as untelevised EPL and non Barca/RM primera.

My season will end after the England - Ireland game and won't be trading till August but may have a look at the England under 21 games in the summer depending on dates. |
