The figure for Wurtemberg comes from his running with Croix Du Nord over 16f . It looks and probably is flukey but Shin Emperor was the right distance behind to suggest that the form could be correct .

It is clear that Calandagan has run 2lb below his previous best and Kalpana has improved slightly .
The 3 y 0 ran well and has to be dropped accordingly . But with Item improving a couple of pounds at York and Benvenuto Cellini running so well in defeat the Quacks should revise their poor opinion of the Classic generation .
