Gstaad's figure is from The Curragh and the order is on countback . The Irish 2000 looks even better now than it did at the time .

The figure for Wurtemberg comes from his running with Croix Du Nord over 16f . It looks and probably is flukey but Shin Emperor was the right distance behind to suggest that the form could be correct .

It is clear that Calandagan has run 2lb below his previous best and Kalpana has improved slightly .
The 3 y 0 ran well and has to be dropped accordingly . But with Item improving a couple of pounds at York and Benvenuto Cellini running so well in defeat the Quacks should revise their poor opinion of the Classic generation .
........?......EDIT : In fact it is possible to argue that the French star ran to his best . In which case no adjustment would be necessary for Benvenuto Cellini and he and Item would rest on the same perch since the latter carried a penalty at York .

I never make wild claims about a horse's ability but the provisional figure I have for this horse is off of the scale . As such it might well be wrong but I will follow him until he is beaten . He is fast but looks to be bred as a staying type .
