Also want to get as many different countries represented as possible to try and pretend it's a global event and potentially help the worldwide promotion of the sport. But they don't want them in at the expense of "proper" players as most of them would just get completely dicked in the first round proper.

Will be interested to see Painter's reaction of this lad takes the opening set later. He looks pretty decent compared to some Prelim material we've seen over the years.

Both of them have been pretty bad for the last 18 months or so
 Makes it a tough one to call as Stompe can switch from being very erratic to hitting maximums and big finishes in the blink of an eye! I think I'll lay whoever looks less bad and sinks to a false price too early  |
