We can be utterly ploddy sometimes, how we haven't won this easily is ridiculous
Still been a decent summer won both series but nothing special beat |

With a few K in the balance I will be staying up all night, slightly worried that the rain might move quicker north than expected tomorrow morning. Not much going for the bowling side and we might not even see the new ball tomorrow due to a wet outfield. I should cash out as the golden rule of trading is to avoid day 5 but I just can't resit.

I wanted to trade out of the draw lay earlier but will wait until tomorrow morning. I made a massive massive mistake like Tom did by getting up at 5am this Morning and laying the ass off Eng/backing the draw but I managed to get on the right end of the market laying Eng at 1.75 just before the deluge. GL all. And also message to Pecker, just win win win, thumbs up mate.

Does anyone know if the ground staff have put out extra precautions like S.L or will that ground take a good 8 hours of pelting rain. Potentially this ground could take one hell of a beating overnight. going by the forecast the rain could be set in until 2pm, it could be another 2 hours until the settled rain has cleared. it was already boggy today on the outfield, one huge deluge will kill it Shirley.??

Layed 150 at 1.2
200 at 1.7 225 at 2.2 As always not sure why. |

It better rain like feck.

By:
What we looking at? max of 50 overs left in the game?
By:
that seems fair, just now id guess....
By:
thinking start around 3 off by half 6 ish roughly 50 overs
By:
Wind won't cause further disruption, will it? Projected to get up to 60 mph.

Radar has been pretty much useless during this and the last test, however we can't deny how much rain is coming through the radar now. Will it be enough to sodden the pitch??? Enough to to put the the Umps into confusion, Standard. Or will England find enough in the pitch to find 8 wickets??? CARNAGE, CARNAGE, CARNAGE.

I'm in the run of this rain being in Somerset, Can't see them coming out much before 4pm. It's pissing it down boys. Serious rain, if today was anything to go by it will take forever to clear up.

Does the Super sopper work between 11pm and 8am???
By:
Nothing will soak this up in the morning from what I'm seeing, I can't even get to Esso 5 mins a walk away. It's seriously heavy and I need a burner.
By:
I'm 20 miles south of Bristol, rain is seriously heavy and has been for a while. Clouds are moving quickly in a Northern direction. Forecast looks correct
By:
Probably no play before lunch but strong winds may help dry pitch.
Think we will have to wait and see if there was any seepage onto the wicket or bowlers run ups. Shirley they must have made provision to cover vast parts of the ground? A dry outfield is vital for England as the ball is ready to reverse. If it is wet it will be like a pudding for 25 overs before the new ball hopefully around tea. |
By:
That system is moving through really quickly
Apparently Jimmy is already driving the super sopper around the outfield |

98 overs incoming

Amazed the draw price is as big as it is. No forecast I can see has the rain stopping before 11, some not till 2, and it took them 2.5hrs to clear up after yesterday's mini-deluge. They've had loads more overnight. It's not as if Pakistan are 5 down.
By:
And they had the sun yesterday to help dry the ground out, this clear up is going to take a long time
By:
The price is big because it's Pakistan batting. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks they lay themselves or the draw when it's short.
By:
There's certainly been no change in the forecast from the close of play last night that justifies the price moving from 1.5 to 1.7
By:
The ball is like a yorkshire pudding too and all the reverse will go as soon as the ball goes in the outfield
By:
Just need some pictures from the ground and for people to see it looking like a boating lake and that draw price will plummet
By:
I can't see anything other than a draw now. Heavy rain falling now with no let up until around 3.30 - 4. With a couple hours mopping up time this is done. Still got a red on the draw but not as bad now.
By:
Oh, there will definitely be gaps in the rain after 12. It becomes v patchy and showery after that. The big thing is how long the initial clear-up takes and then how many of the subsequent showers hit the ground.
By:
This really looks like free money, the weather in southampton is dreadful and there will be little if any pley today. Even if the rain stops the umpires wont be out there in 70mph winds .amazed the price you are able to get for the draw.
