bet365 going 10/11 each under/over 975 runs, surely has to be under if this downpour rain turns up.

2.7 draw does look short at this stage looking at the forecast. It does always rain in Manchester as they say so that could be reflected in the price.
By:
It looks like all 3 tests would have been rain affected, had they been 4 day test matches we would have been looking at 3 draws for sure. That's not test cricket, that's just boring.

Probably not even going to watch this match I fear rain will ruin it. The only caveat is that when it rains there are clouds and if it stops raining the clouds will encourage a clatter of wickets.
I was calling for the Big Rakh but seems pointless now. Campbell needs to go as does Hope but can't see them replacing Hope. Shannon is shot and needs a rest although it could be said he will not be standing around all day so maybe he gets to play. I haven't a clue what England will do but we all deserve to see Broad and Anderson playing their last match together! Archer ought to be stood down but I would like to see him play too but Curran would be a good choice as third seamer for this game. I think Curran has a lot to offer but fitting him into this side is difficult. I don't see him as a third seamer abroad although he could bat six when Pope moves up to three. That would offer Stoke's body shorter spells and a rest when he usually carries the load for the old's and the chance to play a second spinner. I would rather have Moen than Bess at the moment ( tour ) and Leach has proven his worth. |

I layed draw at 2.8. Isn't the forecast OKish for this kind of price? We've had two games that have produced a result in 4 days. I see rain but not that much(met)

BBC FORECAST
FRIDAY LIGHT CLOUD AND LIGHT WINDS SAT HEAVY RAIN AND GENTLE BREEZE SUN LIGHT RAIN AND GENTLE BREEZE MON SAME AS SUNDAY TUES LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS AND GENTLE BREEZE |

By:
I've layed the draw at 2.9. Far too short. This price could easily turn into 5s after day 1 if Wickets fall or forecast improves. This price has already priced in the fact that day 2 is a wash out. A lot can happen between now and then.

Forecast looks patchy rain for Saturday and Sunday. Cloudy & overcast, thank you very much.
By:
Loads of value pre toss by the looks of things. 1.8 looks massive on England as does 9.6 on Windies, only problem being is that you should never trade a team pre toss.
By:
My preference being swing trading, looking for value and taking advantage.

By:
Yeah I think when the forecast is rain there is a good chance of wickets under overheads. Possible a pretty full days play on Friday and in excess of 10 wickets. the bowlers are deffo ascendant at the moment, WI bowled very badly on day one last match. Just wondering if the pitch might be a little faster as well.

Whoever bat first lay inning runs,Cant lose

I've topped up on the draw lay at 2.62 overnight. The forecast is not as bad to suggest it being 2.6 back.

So what's the play here? Draw too stubborn. Forecast is bad but again, we've had two 4-day games producing results. I don't really know what to do here. Always a psychological issue laying the draw.

By:
ok i just looked at accuweather and the forecast is scary as feck

By:
bbc forecast is more likely to be correct. Test Matches don't last 5 days usually over in 3.5 days, I haven't got the exact figures, but West Indies were bowled out twice in around 160 overs in the last Test, at the same venue. Another England win for me.
By:
bbc forecast for my area today seems spot on, yes very scary looking at manchester tomorrow onwards

Fingers crossed England win the toss and bat. After selflessly dropping himself down the order last time the public can't be deprived of seeing The Dom any longer.
The mouthwatering prospect of the full range of strokeplay - the forward prod, the leave outside off and that occasional favourite, the mistimed attacking shot. A timeless test would be much too short to incorporate this man's talent. On a different note what has suddenly become wrong with the Wisden Trophy? |
By:
A lay of England at odds on to start with. As much as the weather, I'd be concerned with a lot of tired legs due to the potentially punishing schedule. Yes, they are professional athletes but we have already seen some evidence of that in the 2nd Test. England ideally want to win a home series. WI would take a drawn one away from home if you'd offered it to them 2 weeks ago.

Rakheem the dream playing!

By:
Have to be on Windies at these prices bowling first
By:
Blimey the windies spinner is a unit. Thought he was part of the backroom staff in the previous test. No very often spinner makes bigger footmarks than the quicks!

By:
think hes 6'6 |

Doesn't have a long run up as you can imagine

Weighed in at 22 stones last year, take it hes the slip corden.

Jesus this draw price is on crack

By:
Market is assuming we're going to lose 1.5 days at least to rain, forecast doesnt look that bad to me
By:
Draw gone from 2.76 at toss to 2.30 at start of play
By:
Umpires consisent with wides again as long as the keeper touches it it isnt a wide

By:
Draw price is mad but it's only going to go shorter
By:
timber?

By:
layed windies at 7
By:
not sure how that wicket hasnt pushed the draw price out further, Sibley is a draw backers dream!

By:
By:
Yeah England price never really moved with the wicket
By:
Buttler at 6 and Woakes at 7, England batting looks shaky
By:
Should have gone in with a 4 man attack, don't really need 5 bowlers in these conditions
