Always makes me laugh when they think fast bowlers from years ago were quicker than anything today and every West Indian bowler through the 70s/80s and 90s was 90mph+!!

Interesting article about baseball pitchers.  Many more can bowl over 100mph but top speed remains 105 mph.

I am not sure they are bowling faster these days, probably more bowl quickly is all.  Will try and find the article. The pitches have varied over the years. I thought the thirties were a batsman's paradise. The last decade with sandpaper the batsmen have struggled.
