I heard this noise watching the Bradford airport webcam and got excited expecting a plane to land so I could see how much spray was coming up off the runway and a fceking great lorry drove under the fceking runway!

Anyway the news from Bradford is there is loads of spray coming off the runway and a bRyan Air flight has just landed. The scabs are flying planes!

Warner is due a score but this batting line up for the Aussies is horrendous other than him Crazy

Bancroft should never be dropped for this Harris fellow, never even heard of him until now

Starc not being in is absolutely ridiculous as well, the Aussies have lost it with their selections. Darren Lehman needs to come back Laugh

If the english had a brain, like we do in WALES, they would roof their stadia.

Can't see them roofing cricket grounds, Richie Laugh

Thought it was daft roofing Wimbledon and Australian Open and now US Open as well. "Open" not ring a bell?

I think 1 of the Aussie grounds has a roof. They have played cricket in the Millenium Stadium too, Shahid Afridi hit the roof for a 12 - I was thereDevil

it's Marvel stadium, only for T20s

That game was before the advent of T20 too, I think. As usual, the WELSH are at the vanguard of sporting excellence.

Yes, jucel69, correct, for onceLaugh. I was going to add the caveat that it's rarely used in Aus.

Yeah I thought it was pretty ridiculous playing with the roof shut in a cricket game Laugh

Our cricket grounds are not exactly big enough to build roofs though LaughLaugh

Fascinating incite

Btw Brealey said Aus ended the day on 210-5 when they could have just as easily been all out for 90

Very interesting to see what happens when they get back on after lunch

That roof is there only because of the bad weather experienced during the Rugby World Cup in South Africa in 1995.
The IRB then insisted that the venue for the 1999 World Cup final have a roof.

A lot of internal bickering in Wales during the stadium build process, but you ended up with a bargain stadium whilst Laing Construction went bust.
They lost £34 million on a £99 million project Scared

I wanna know one thing

Why did the Irish build a great looking stadium for 3 stands.. and then put that ridiculous little far*y thing as the last stand ?

I remember seeing a lot of Botham's 149 but I missed Willis bowling out the Aussies the next day because I had to go to school.  Only found out the result hours later

That was the compromise to avoid overshadowing existing buildings.
