England's fallibilities on full display early on in the series

let Oz right off the hook bowling and now making a pig's ear of a decent start battingAngry

Umpires need to be much tougher as to when a ball needs to be changed as this different ball has totally changed this innings with 2 quick wickets and the bowlers now getting the upper hand, England would have done exactly the same trying there best to change the ball if nothing was happening.

all psychological..could well have been the same story with the previous ball..just a momentum swing

Old ball was not swinging whereas new ball was from the 1st ball putting doubt in batsman's mind and Denly was out playing for the swing as it rattled into his pads.

did you see that game where the bail came off and rested on the top of the wickets?https://twitter.com/ESPNcricinfo/status/1153870076942192640?s=20

I don't get why that wasn't out - the bail was dislodged from the stumps (plural) and ended up in the wrong position balanced on a single stump and had to be repositioned before play could continue - surely that means the stumps were broken? If there had been no bails due to strong wind wouldn't it have been out?
