One draw last year against Eng but the draw traded in the 20s at times when NZ folded to 36/5

Looks like they'll play on Saturday afternoon and then make up missed time for the rest of the test. It can be quite easy to bat here when the suns out, and it certainly is a new ball wicket. Bangladesh are **** though, so plenty of time to roll them if the forecast stays the same. And like you said, will be very tough to bat for the first day and a half. Gonna gradually lay for a few k and wait for the next update.

strange to see the draw shorten to sub 4's

Just be careful too that if the wind is from the Southeast like it is on Tuesday's forecast and its patchy drizzle its that horrible stuff that comes in from the sea and can ruin a whole days play without much actual mm of water falling.

no worries. I guess the next update is about 11pm NZ time? too late for me, going to green out and wait for tomorrow mornings update. At least there is some money in the market now.

2.6 armageddon to 3.7, decent weather for a good chunk of the test

I'm assuming the met lads are backing the draw knowing they are about to drop biblical rain again in the next update
|
|
By:
The hourly forecast for the next 48 hours shows a bit more rain at 2 pm on sat
|
|

and a huge downpour at 10 am

yeh looks like we won't get much play on Saturday!

that's part of the trading strategy though, working out what effect each new piece of info will have on the market.

see you tomorrow

wow been very quiet on this forum while I was sleeping. I suppose no real change in the forecasts so nothing to talk about.

tomorrow suddenly looks terrible.
I know Bangla are dire but a whole day lost always spooks the market! |
|
By:
but if Bangla bat its all over

the forecast is ever changing, going to be a long 5/6 days/nights for me
|
|
By:
Agreed, forget the amount of mm that is predicted but listen to the forecast "Periods of rain, easing evening. Southerlies developing morning." That in itself spooks me. Periods of rain with southerlies sounds like a day where you cannot get on the park because when it dries and the covers start to come off another shower and rain will hit again.

How do i know what choice is made by the winner, or am i just overheating right now?
|
|
By:
pretty sure the toss winner bowls first
. Then again the lure of Takas might be too much for those filthy animals |
|
By:
Still highly suspicious of the 2nd test, some of the shots Bangers played combined with insane market moves. Pocket talking doesn't necessarily mean pocket wrong!
|
|
By:
Yes over there, thats the natural assumption which is what would worry me, as then id be double barreled.

Hey Juce, are you just going to sit here for the next 2 hours after 9:58 clicking refresh on the forecast until it updates?
