Certainly feel less intensity from WIndies, think Eng will win this... but they are still awful

unusual for a dead rubber test...normally its the visitors who's heads have gone

Got a load of lays in around and under 4s here but traded a lot of it off at the wrong prices, compounded by trying to put a lay in at 4.9 after backing low 5s on the second wicket from abut £500 green all ove but making it a back instead. Tits are really pointing skyward since then.

Was nearly £10k red on the draw at one stage. Should have given it proper welly. When did England last draw a test? Second game in NZ?

it's the hubristic entitlement and uber misplaced self belief that p1sses me off

plus the handjob powers that be doing the same thing over and over and not really giving a fk whether thet get the same result or not

not on the obscene football money but too many now on too much money and too complacent

agree johnny

tough to suggest what they can do about that as pay them less and a lot of them will go ride the T20 cash cow

I would defo play hard ball with them though and say its either england your 1 and only priority (salaried to sensible money, plus everything that goes with it eg international tournaments, ashes etc) OR its off you go be your own boss and forego the benefits

I also think there needs to be a significant % of performance related pay, like what exists in other (admittedly individual) sports

defo agree re performance related pay..might i suggest 99.99% of your pay is results orientated..you can keep the restWink

1.62 looks low for eng at this stage, maybe start with that as a lay and go from there.

i do a hell of a lot of punting on football..25/7 on occasionGrin but altho' i love both quintessentially cricket is for me 'the beautiful game' esp test cricket(even tho' these days its average duration is not unadjacent to T20

jennings is not out of nick ffs he's just hopelessly out of his depth

Well at the moment he’s both, so underperforming even his fairly dismal level. I just can’t understand what he’s doing in our test side. He was very lucky when first in the side and still got dropped for being bad. Then he got recalled despite being bad in FC cricket and was abysmal in tests. Despite that, he’s only missed one game since his recall. He’s just about okay against spin but even there, hardly great.

Got some joy out of a bunch of backs of the draw in the 9s now. Had taken a few around 8 before that though so need a lot more here, although my England lay protects me a little against collapse.

With a bit of the luck he missed last game and a minor amount of help from the others, Broad could well bowl them out for about 150 on this, couldn’t he?

agree fats...he averages 16 (sixteen Laugh) against seam
incredible he still has a place in this team

my comment was referring to a comment nass made about jennings being out of nick
it sounded to be like he was defending him, like there is promise of better to come
I see no evidence whatsoever of this

although on reflection I think nass was probably just feeling sorry for him knowing that everybody is going to be nailing him so no need for another savage assassination Laugh
