Makes me laugh when they say the old guys were quicker in the 70's.
Absolute bollox, just much dodgier pitches .
Everybody appears 10 mph quicker when the ball is jumping off a length

Have you become a much bigger roller recently?

High odds on draw/sl, wouldn't need a huge bet to have that book. 3k on Aus too would imply much larger bets

I think people have done some work with the old footage and demonstrated that they were actually slower in the day. Stands to reason that fast bowling would be quicker, given people run faster, jump higher (or further) etc.

Setting up a quick physio check again just before lunch to ensure no jucel wicket in the extra over. Clever.

Sure but it’s still suggestive of some progress, I think. Having £3k draw is worth £1k on results.

Well, it was near to that. Not now!

Well, I usually had a 500/1k bank only. But i've been profitable since August at least and have moved it to 1.5k, which grew to 2.8 and then down to 2 now.

I think i'm getting much better in not repeating my mistakes but made a big one in the Eng game and paid a massive price(800). The fact that in the last two months I have lost 2400 bucks on three separate tests with a 1.5k bank and still in profit shows im doing a lot of things right(except when im not Grin)

Market got quite excited about that retirement but I didn’t quite get a useful amount of 1.23 laid.

As for this game, I had a 700 bucks back of the draw averaging about 17, cashing out at 10. Then a lay of Aus from 1.12 to 1.2(for a liability of around 500)

You laid England at 6.x just before they took 2 wickets, det? Then redded it out?
By:
detraveller
When: 03 Feb 19 00:29
Yes Fats. I actually backed them small at 4.8. They immediately flew out to 6.

So I thought i'll get smart and lay them massively(about 1.2k liability) for a few ticks. I've done that a lot in the past and knew at the time of placing the bet it was wrong. But I got greedy looking for a few ticks for no reason.

I redded out that bet at 2.8!!!!

Wonder if WI will be allowed to prepare pitches like that when the Injuns go soon??!Laugh
The Injuns will probably tell them they will only play in Trinidad or Providence.
The told the Aussies they wouldn't play in Brisbane and refused a D/N game in Adelaide.
Way too much powerAngry

Stokes and Broad are tall and did well. Currans is having a torrid tour. Would have been brave selection to leave him out after his heroics against India but bringing Woakes in gives you a better batsman and bowler, in my view.

I thought the first test performance by Eng was just an odd bad outing. But they followed it up with a worse one. No intention to bat long. Bravo made 50 only but probably was the difference between an almost innings victory and a defeat even.

I've just watched the highlights but absolutely abysmal.
8 wickets to Royston in the first game was a national disgrace
