things often move slower than you think, happened to me loads of times. The wind is coming from the north east so it will slow it down a tad

that's not the point, it's about squeezing as much out of the rain as possible and then looking to flip

I can be really patient in tests, but really twitchy in the short forms.
Trying to keep away from that crap.
I don't bet lard amounts anymore. Today I waited til 10/1 before I backed the chasing team in the Cabbage Patch League

if this was Leeds or Manchester I would have £10,000 on the Draw, London always disappoints rain dancers

I only normally use that level of exposure overnight or when there is rain.
Not often I have 10k hanging out in normal play

T20 yes very easy to blow a grand or two on that, Tests are much "safer" although sitting at a computer for 4 or 5 days I enjoy less and less now

I'd say the base-price factors in future info, but the panic movements are based on what's happening now. Last night the Draw was shorter during actual rain. Likewise this morning. But 5.0ish was already short due to forecasts. 5.8 had been available last week.
