Sold most of my draw off too high but always easier after the forecast hardens up and the price has gone down like a lead balloon.

I only need to look out of my window - overcast skies as far as the eye can see plus what was light persistent drizzle that has now turned into moderately heavy rain.

Big price move on Draw from 3.3 to 3.7 but no apparent changes in forecasts. Am I missing something?

I was thinking, imagine if there was a revival of the Mohican Punk look and an MP commented that their hairstyles looked like loo-brushes - would anyone be claiming that offence might be caused?

|
By:
there's not much rain after the current lot, looking at the French Radar

If we do lose some of today the Draw ought to go pretty short as it has to factor in a rather dicey-looking Sunday as well.
Bounce to 3.8 must be expecting the rain to subside before to long - no sign of that here yet. |

I'm in Balham which is 8-9 miles due South of Lords. Been raining steadily but not that hard for half an hour or so. Looks fairly set in for the moment

Heavy rain seems to move the market quicker. If it's drizzle/light rain there is an air of expectancy that it would stop any second.
It's all about how it's perceived. "It's only light rain" "It's absolutely bucketing down" Definitely a psychological thing |

I have layed further at 3.45

british summer back with a vengeance to blight our summer game..it was ever thus..those searing temperatures and blue skies a distant memory for another 100 years

Imagine if the tradition of female oppression involved moving around in a wooden box with wheels - would we all have to avoid smirking and pretend its normal? Why am I freely able to buy an inflatable Jesus on Ebay, but no one dares market anything equivalent for certain other religions?

Rain has eased off a bit. Still visibly drizzling but no longer audible on the roof-lights.

I still can never reconcile feminists sticking up for Islam/Muslims.
It's about a bizarre an argument as you can imagine, based on ignorance Yet they campaign against strippers! Apparently it's fine to 'voluntarily' self-oppress by wearing too much, but if you think you are happy to earn a living wearing too few clothes then you are a victim of Stockholm Syndrome and need protecting from your strange wish to exhibit yourself. No such campaigning exists against Naturists, as far as I am aware. |

I'm about 35 miles North of London and its not raining here

That main band should go through about 3pm, then's there a few hours of mizzly stuff. Takes us up to 5pm.
Will they try and get an hour in or pack up til tomorrow?? |
|

I'm near Guildford 30 miles South and not raining
|
|

There was light rain in Wisley (20 miles SW of Lords) 20 mins ago. Hopefully it's part of that big band of rain coming in.

BBC still asleep!

The 3-hour radar doesn't quite tally with extrapolating the real-time map. On the 3-hour it all blows off to the East very soon. On the real-time the centre of the main band is still heading NNE across London.
