I think he's had a lot of luck with bat and ball. Every time he gets runs, it involves 10 drs reversals and 50 dropped catches.

must be left out of the last test......may even go home........ Spinner with no spin

he's certainly flattered by batting where he does in the order

whack him up @ 5 or higher and he's doesn't make the runs he has imo

pitches in eng offer a bit of spin & some uneven bounce at the back end of tests...brings him right into the game
but he is pretty much straight up and down @ 50mph

so for aussie pitches = judge him as a pure batsman

verdict = goodbye

How many overs left today? They're scoring slowly.

Pup might have had a declaration in mind in this situation.  Would Warner when the deficit has gone and he has nailed his ton start go on a tear?  Does Smithy have any Pup in him?.......Could Lyon skittle Eng in 25 overs?

he was bowling well yesterday when root took him off
some confidence in him as anderson's strike partner would not go amiss

hopefully the rain break will allow a rethink on what England are trying to achieve........are we playing for the draw or are we going to take some more risks........

Some of the best trading opps happen on the long-odds outsider on the last day, if you can get on in the size you want.
