A result venue, which can produce big first innings scores. Although the last Ashes Test here was fairly low scoring with both side seamers doing well. Must be Lyon's fav ground. He always gets wickets.

Some rain forecast last 2 days.  A back draw to lay. If Aus win the toss, we may see Eng batted out of the match by day 2. Anderson and Broad not the bowlers they were 3 years ago.

I have layed Aus as low as 1.56 and backed as high as 1.65

Broad definitely in decline, not so much Anderson despite his advancing years, he's a homer.

This market has been open for days, wish betfair would get cracking on the Saffers Zimmers market that starts on the same day.

Saffers Zimmers  market is now open with nothing yet matched.

anderson is getting better with age not worse. not as fast obviously but more skilful and his numbers are tremendous. 50 odd wickets at sub 20 this year. respectable effort in this series with hardly any support down the other end

woakes with the new ball you might, instead of it being wasted by broad

BOM still paints a rainy last 1/2 of the test match so my 1.56 & 1.57 Aus lays looking rosy (for now)

Starc out. Replaced by Bird.

Don't see much to worry about in the forecast.

BOM has worsened again, a 40 50 & 60% has become two 60's & a 70% for days 3,4 & 5.....and a 10% on day2.

really want to lay the draw hard but i am worried about the forecast. mind you if it improves we may never see this price again Confused

I'd worry more about weakened bowling on a flat track bringing the draw in.

don't think there's been a draw at the MCG for years and some possible showery days just gonna make batting more difficult

Draw comfortably sub 4's now. Even on crimbo one must stay updated on current prices.

Thank you Your Eminence, quite happy to hold a chunk of draw red at the price.

forecast seems about the same. few showers possible on the last 3 days. doesn't look like lots of prolonged delays for rain

Probably more about it being a flat pitch.

Even though the series is lost still plenty of pressure on Root. I am afraid Ponting appears to have hit a few nails on the head. It isn't much good being united in mediocrity. Root appears to be in charge purely on the basis of who else could they pick.

fancy aus massive here
d/r tests usually road teams have gone in the head by now & I see little different from eng
same players that got them to 0-3 will take them to 0-4 imo
no starc the only negative I can see for aus but prepared to stomach that @ 4/6

I have been up $hit creek on a barbed wire canoe with a NZ back earlier....still not safe with that but its improved.   Hoping rain renders the game abandoned.

The sooner Eng drift to 20's & beyond which is a real possibility today the better.
