Scored a Test Century on each Test ground in Australia, which incudes Perth and the others, so goes to show you he can bat on any Surface and his record speaks for himself.

Huge admiration for Cooke...Sensational really to pull this out of the bag..shame it was not a tad sooner...but that is sport.
By:
Cook*
Credit to Broad also tbf. |
By:
performing when the series has gone
both cook & broad have been garbage when it really mattered |
By:
But not over a career.....
Still took some balls... |
By:
Cook, Broad and Anderson have shown how precious experience is. Foolish to ditch high class players too soon.
We still haven't replaced Strauss! |
By:
aus arent gonna feck around here are they and dangle a carrot/risk losing, theyre just gonna bat for aslong as possible?
By:
I'm not assuming England will declare. Still 2 days to go.
By:
if I were england id declare now, another 20 runs wont do anything for u
By:
Looks like a few showers after midday, maybe heavier around 5pm.
By:
It will be 250 up first for Al Cook....
By:
Cook can be the highest score ever to carry his bat.
By:
England aren't going to declare 164 runs ahead with two full days to play.
Might as well go out this morning and have Cook see if he can add another 30 runs to the total. Going to take Australia 2 full sessions to chase down 190-200 runs. By the final day I'd be surprised if Australia are going to be any more than 50 runs ahead. Chuck in some possible rain delays, loss of wickets slowing the run rate and Australia realistically aren't going to do anything other than try and bat this out. Only 2 possible results here. You can still dutch them at odds against. |
By:
gotta admit, the thai looks insane free, aus surely cant get bowled out here v this powder puff attack
By:
"insane free"...thats a new oneEngland bowled well first innings once the ball roughed up and Warner got out...ok i think 3 aussies dragged on but the pitch suits england more than aussies. england through their wickets away so the draw must be a player at some point RAIN |
