england need about 50 overs of very patient batting here.
it's tough, need to see out tonight without any more casualties, and then start again tomorrow. then the new ball. and then, if there are enough batsmen left we have a good chance against a kookaburra that's over 20 overs old. switching the pressure onto australia through patience is the key, not the rate. Root needs to reassure Malan that he's doing exactly the right thing. |
