To be fair, he did accelerate today too, although SR under 80 a bit feeble.

This is why you should back batting side if they lose late wickets, by the way, isn't it?

Because he usually plays in NZ Grant. 300 is the norm in England now. Not so in NZ.

Roscoe lost his power with a very bad arm or shoulder injury, never been the same, when he was playing for Durham years ago and early IPL he was a different kettle of fish to what he is now!

LaughLaugh u need to stop talking, so if the pitch is so hard as u say, why did u expect them to go at 12 an over????

By:

8 overs left. Need to go for it now. 12 an over gets them to 335 which might be enough.

They have 300 odd, of course they have a chance. The fact is they were in a fantastic position to go heavy favourites and completely messed it up

exactly this, from the position they were in they shoudlve got minimum 330

Same Boat... But I reversed onto Aus at 1.59 at 15.30...I can foresee trouble ahead with Davy & Finchy high risk approach already started scaling out!

Think Aus would have very much remained in the market even chasing 330 but I think this gives NZ a shot I'd price at about 2.5, although I'm not taking any more on at 3, having just missed a trade back out just under 2.6.

Even from just before Williamson out, which is picking your moment rather, 330 was a fair ask. Bit much to call it a minimum and as I say, that's picking their very best position all innings.

Finchy has a poor technique, this is a poor Aus price sub 1.5.. I'm getting out completely

If the new balls swing could be NZ 1.5 rather quickly (in which case I'll probably be out).

My thought were it looked a hard pitch to accelerate on. I was clearly wrong. It was just poor batting when they tried to accelerate?

why did NZ go from favs to big outsiders in the last 10 overs in ur opininon?

By:

if the pitch was "tough" as you say, the market wouldve expected the collapso no?
By:
frog2
When: 02 Jun 17 16:11
The market clearly thought there would not be a collapse. Maybe it thought Anderson would score quickly at the next wicket?
