I can't figure out how that guy got matched at 1.01 on the day 1,2,3 test match end. You don't fat-finger in an obscure market like that so surely it's got to have been a pre-arranged account-swapping or money-launder trade of some sort. Could somebody really be careless enough to get their logic upside down and offer to back 1.01 as a genuine trade? Seems a tad unlikely. Any other theories?

Or PC avoidance, if so it won't take long for BF to catch on and do them.

I don't think people do this kind of thing anymore as a fear of a bot kicking in.

PC avoidance occurred to me, yes. You'd lose up to 5% in the swap but save the rest.
I thought about the bot thing. It would be my fear too, though I'm not sure exactly how a bot would be able to detect your bet part-way through a match. More likely a bot would offer and repeatedly cancel a bet so quickly that the backer never saw it before trying to back the 1.01, or something like that, maybe?

Looking through the overnight posts and those this morning, reading the weather forecasts seems to be resembling the scrutinising of tea leaves. Glad I locked in 24 hours ago.

Don't panic. The market is only a little bouncy due to the market being very thin at the mo.

Need to leave the house though - annoyed at having to spend all day tweaking and micro-trading. Once you get caught on the wrong side of a move you're really enslaved to screen-watching. Five days of cricket with no weather risk is ideal. Ten days of inaccurate/out-of-date/inconsistent/uninterpretable/suddenly-changeable/conflicting weather reports is more like the hell of 24-hour currency markets.

I'm clinging on to my possie which is still a green one but not as lush as it was...

I am kind of resigned to just waiting till they go off at some point...

I had to go out coaching last night on the realization that i actually had a life....Grin

That is exactly how I feel. I have managed to fritter away the majority of my green that I made on the initial draw plunge. I have not enjoyed the last couple of days at all.

I layed the draw at 2.34 about an hour ago thinking it was going to drift out to 2.6 or 2.7. Within 10 minutes it was back into 2.16. Cry

I still fail to see how Sunday and Monday avoid rain...I assume the wind can alter and make it a mess also.

It seems to me like a fair bit of rain lurking....

I just hope Saturday am gets a doing also if we are lucky...

First session to the bats will see a mighty scramble surely..........

As things stand "the trend is your friend" so if nothing changes we should get back there (2.34) and above before too long. The draw with two strong sides in India where big runs are the norm (and there's currently a couple of showers expected) is still above 4 so the natural "five clear days" level here should be way higher than that, so even 3s might be realistic with a modest further abatement of rain risk.

Did someone say something about having a life? What is this surreal concept of which you speak, pd?

Got on the wrong end of this: I had a whole load of draw lays lying about from 1.95 or so down almost all of which would have been taken by now if I hadn't reversed and got them all in around 2.2 instead. Oh well, I got the earlier moves right. This would have been a fantastic market for ignoring the data and just putting your backs in at 2.2 and your lays at 1.8. It's been up and down like a ****'s underwear. Not sure how to take advantage of it now as I feel I've no idea what's going on any more.
By:
Fatslogger
When: 24 Mar 17 15:30
I want to lay the draw at 1.8 really badly but then I'll have turned a massive draw green into a significant red and could lose on the draw train that was what I was previously hoping for. Grrrrrrr
