Had a big bet on NZ earlier when they were 9s as I could see the rain clearing before play. Laid off at 7.6 30 mins later, never thought it would get this lowCry.

New Zealand would chase down 200 in 30 overs

Yes, without the rain this has actually turned a little hairy for Bangladesh. Didn't think that the market would react quite this much although in retrospect NZ always likely to get lots of runs (why we all backed draw) so this sort of scenario should perhaps have been picked as likely to give the market the hots for the Kiwis. Am just going to have to sweat it out too, as certainly not backing Kiwi at 4.

Of course, also Bangladesh should have tried to score another 20 or 30 runs in 4 or 5 overs by having a slog. That never makes sense to me: just try to hit the thing out of the park for the few overs before you declare.

it just came from nowhere, pissed me off as I knew it would come back to bite them. I've been treading carefully ever since as I have a very large green on NZ & the draw

Winviz now has the draw at 91%.

I've thought draw highly likely from end of day 2 but winviz had Bangladesh win for a lot of that time. Not sure I trust it, although useful tool.

Just backed Pak then wicket. I'm on fire.

Bangla effectively 2 down, could still be a few twists on day 5

Hmm, tried to go green with a nz bet at 8.6 on the retirement hurt. Didn't get it all but did at least get some. They could easily be effectively two or even three down here. Another wicket tonight and real worries for Bangladesh and indeed my account.

Just saying the same although post didn't appear. Could even see it as 3 down with the injury to Mushfiq, although he will probably bat if he has to.

Oh yes, 250 off 60 overs ought to be very attainable, although could even bring the Bangladesh win in to play as the grinders will have to adapt their games. Not having mustered any comedy green, I would like a nice quiet draw really but I am at least down to 1.4k Nz red.

Another one? Jesus.

Why wasn't I all over NZ at 11.5? The rain, I suppose. This would look very different with a session less in the match.

New Zealand basically have 47 overs on day 5 to bowl out bangla and chase a score around 200 to 250

going to be a fantastic day 5 really cant see bangladesh fully collapsing on this wicket, i think they will look to block and rotate to secure the draw if anymore wickets fall

Tried to reply to this earlier but missed. I think if they last anything like 45 overs the target will be steep, possibly as much as 300. Bangladesh isn't a team of blockers and the game is a lot easier to save through scoring runs, plus it's a good track. Could see an interesting scenario like 275 in 50 overs, with a chance that NZ could lose wickets going for the win, although they could probably just shut up shop if it came to it, especially given how popgun the Bangladesh attack is.
