We've seen several instances lately of teams putting on 400+ then going on to lose (sometimes by an innings!). I wonder what the record is for losing after a large first innings declaration?
I now have a neutral position on Bang and NZ, leaving a small draw green. I'm very tempted to add substantially to my draw at these odds (as an outright bet rather than a trading position) but if Bang collapse I'd hate to be kicking myself for losing money in a Test where ALL THREE outcomes had traded both at evens or below AND at 10s or above! |

@Voo 3 tests in the last two months where teams scored 400+ in first innings and lose by an innings margin.
Whats the news on Kayes and Mushfiqur? If they are unable to bat, Bangla are effectively 5 down. And I can esily see them folding under pressure once they realize they could lose the game easily after posting a mamoth 595 first up!!! In any case, should be interesting 98 overs in the day. |

Mushy will bat. Kayes has a thigh injury. No idea about him.
Getting pretty fed up that laying teams facing 400-595 (!!) isn't paying off! It was the perfect storm. Not only did NZ reply with 540 odd but to take 3 wickets and get an opponent injured is incredible. |

I am all square on draw and NZ with a massive red on Bangers. Might not get heavily involved again as really lucky to get out of this unscathed(assuming Bangles dont win)

Juce, amazing how slow the market is. I thought I would sit today with my hand ready to place the bet. As soon as wicket falls, I place the bet.
8 balls into the game, it happens and im fecking typing on the forum. I change windows to place the bet quickly and press. It happens :D I got 2.5 and it was still there after my bet got placed. At stumps yesterday I had green on NZ and an equal red on the draw. With this bet(and the subsequent cash out) I have a bigger green on NZ and an even bigger green on the draw. Fecking genius! Thanks for sharing the radio commentary :D |
