ASDA has good price glitches though - sometimes their 3-for 2 offers don't register on the ASDA Price Guarantee site, so as long as you bought ten or more items that can be compared to other supermarkets, you'll get money back on the difference, plus you got the third item for free anyway even though the APG site thinks you paid full price for the three items. Only happens occasionally, unfortunately - and rarely on alcohol.

A few years ago i lived more or less on the beach.I wanted some light summer socks just to knock about in.

I happened to be in Tesco and saw this 6 pack of light socks, browns and tans, reduced to £7.99, so i thought will do for now and bought a pack.

When i got to the till i was charged £1.99. That evening i was the proud owner of 42 new pairs of socks...Laugh

Who the hell buys supermarket pancakes? All the fun is in making them and eating them before they get as far as the table whilst the next one is frying.

Grant - treat yourself to a two-ring electric hob. I lived for years quite happily with one of those (cost me a fiver at a boot sale), a fridge, a kettle and a Popty-Ping.
