Of course, without having an opinion on what England score.

Hahaha love it Clarke. Perfect time to declare. Can see poms being 4 or 5 down tonight
By:
Think Eng will be a few down tonight.
By:
might not have the time for that if bad weather is on the cards
By:
Get the bowlers a little warm, declare straight up get them in.
Always close to the opinion, but still must be somewhat surprising to hear it officially for England. If I had to, I think I would guess around 3/100 at close of play. |

Would not like to face Johnson with the new nut...

Sneaky lay of the draw. Lyth should go cheap at least IMO.... Hopefully more.
Way passed my bed time, may as well make it worthwhile staying up. |

It was a legal delivery so what is the problem?

By:
well, it's tough to know who is jwb.
it's a tough baptism facing the convicts and the kiwis - two of the toughest bowling units in cricket at the moment. i'm sure he would have fancied a much softer tour against the windies on featherbeds, but the selectors, Cook and Moores saw fit to offer Trott that privilige carberry is obviously persona non grata, robson has big technical flaws, compton another persona non grata. who you going to go with? |

All of a sudden the pitch is impossible to bat on
By:
it seems as though hazlewood is bowling on a slightly different strip to the englishmen.

By:
as they say wait until both sides have batted before passing judgement on a pitch
By:
2 fresh bowlers, new ball. 10 overs is when we know. Think we get another sneaky 1 in that time though....
By:
moreover it's unrepresentative of the majority of people at the ground.

By:

By:
don't rate ballance. i know he's had a great county career and scored a shitload of soft runs against second rate attacks, but i don't think he's got it at this level.
By:
received wisdom the dude couldn't bowl over here..must've been an aberration lol
By:
1-4 incoming... thought it was weird how good we were doing. Turns out it was just Aussie's being ****
