England middle order is their strongest suit imho. Ballance innings is a bonus. He is fighting hard which I like to see but his technique is going to be a nightmare on a decent cricket pitch. Well done to him though.

Hi Juce,

There is a saying...once a fat boy always a fat boy!

I am off it during the week although my Aus lay is nearing to tempt me.

I have a hankering for some Brunello and if Aldi can whack it out at £15 or £18 a bottle like they did a few months ago I shall be using this match winnings to load up!

On a go slow with the food tooSadSad

Skipping the gym today as it is the first day of the series.

I try to exercise everyday so I can be a glutton. My love of food and drink far outweighs my desire to exercise

Are England worth a back to lay at this stage?

someone needs to tell ponting that he needs to drone on about greasy pizzas, low brow american films, who the players look like, and pick out a few freaks in the crowd, rather than provide an insightful analysis of the cricket.

Bastard, I'm on chateau de cardboard unfortunately. No chance of a decent red over here in Thailand for that price.  A decent bottle would be 50 quid and that is just rude imo. A bottle of Hardys knobwash is the best part of 20 quid Cry

I listened to him a lot in the BBL. As you say he is insightful, but also has a good sense of humour

Having a good AFL season?

the WC was a smokescreen, they could have delayed the last series in aus to 2015-16 and then had this current series in 2017

but they didn't coz its all about the ££££ and the aussie$$$$

Yeah, really good.  Great season with a lot tighter competition.  Last year was horrible with 4-5 games a week with 1.10 favourites..  Seems to be quite rare to have that this year.
Nearly the first bet I have had today on anything but tbh.  Was down to my last few pennies, then AFL season started and life is good again.  Made more on half a season this year than I did all of last year betting every day.

Just thought I would try and grind out a bit of coin on the cricket.  Made a couple hundred so calling it.  School holidays and got 3 kids to get up to in a few hours..  ffs  Nice easy game to trade but laying Aus against Eng always have to tread a little carefully.

Good to hear you are back in the black. Yeh I've been against Aus pre toss. 40/3 was a bit twitchy but I kept the faith & my book is looking fantastic now.
