i think is  a bad  decision to get  the  new  ball ,  old  ball doing well for them now the  ball will come  well on bat , i can see  a lead of  under 60 with  this  new ball decision

Draw backers hiding behind pillows at the moment. Plenty going on &  Aus will have similar conditions. All depends if they can control it like we have done

pretty poor batting display, Watson is just not good enough and hasn't been good enough but it's been acceptable as we haven't had anyone better but I think we do now and Mitchell Marsh definitely deserves to take his spot

Smith, Clarke and Voges all got significant starts and at least 1 of them needed to kick on, Haddin can't do it all the time, hopefully we bowl well and limit how much we have to chase or at least control how fast they score so we're not batting for 2 days to try and save a test match

I think teams are finding out how to beat Australia, just prepare roads and score 400+ as our weakness is obviously our batting

Aussie's needing about 200 to win 9 down and the 5th day will be a wash out Crazy

Great effort this morning. Just hope we can bat properly now. 350 plus lead by tonight so have to win bar a lot of rain.

id price England at about 1.6. Draw about 2.4 and Aussie's like 6's

England should be sub 1.50's for mine. 122 run lead is very significant in these conditions.

it's definitely England's game to lose now it will take some sort of bowling performance for us to have any hope

I don't think the conditions make the lead significant, it's a flat pitch

122 is a significant lead in any conditions

It's not a flat deck & there is a lot of swing on offer. As noted on comms, it seems there is a batch of Duke balls that are conducive to swing. Aus had the dukes swinging in the warm up games too & they didn't control it well first dig.

of course the ball is hooping around after you've got 400+ on the board against the best attack in world cricket Crazy

When: 10 Jul 15 12:30
it is in England best interest, to keep the scoreboard moving quickly, if they can get another 300 in this innings, Australia will be totally out of the game. I think 418, is the highest ever total chased down, in the 4th innings of a Test and that score will not be chased on this surface.
