i like warner. i like that he backs himself and sticks to his game, but the 9 lot need to stop with this "redefining the opening spot" fellatio party.

he's not got the technique for difficult conditions, but dominates very well and very safely when it's easy. he's also extremely good at setting the tone and scoring quick runs in the 2nd innings, but he's a long way away from hayden. closer to sehwag but achieved a great deal less.

Got on the draw a little earlier. Surprised it hasn't come in plenty on this pitch, not that I don't think there will be a result, but 20 overs in , 5 runs an over, has to warrant the draw getting backed doesn't it? Think no wickets at lunch it will get dumped some. Have to sit on it I guess for a bit.

Draw price depends a fair bit on Warner. If he's still there at stumps I can see draw price drift out past $4

this is by far the worst commentary team we've ever had

Good commentators: Mark Taylor, Ian Chappell, Bill Lawry (for that 1 game a year)

Bad commentators: The rest

it drives me ****g insane that James "big" Brayshaw who never played cricket at any level past first class (and even then he wasn't a regular starter in that side) is a commentator, Ian Healy is also the most biased clown in that booth who for some reason feels he has the runs on the board to make comments regarding batting technicalities when his array of shots as a batsman were limited to the cut shot, Slater **** me with his fake laughs

getting back to the point made, these commentators probably feel that Warner is redefining the opening spot, they probably never watched Matthew Hayden play the clueless mugs, I think Warner is more technically correct than people give him credit for but because he burst into the scene via T20 people are quick to associate him with that style of game as opposed to test match cricket, you look at a guy like Aaron Finch who is another power hitter who perhaps has a poor front foot technique and doesn't transfer his weight as well as someone like Warner

Yeah, I was a bit tame, but I did manage to get facebook and twitter, for both Ten and cricket.com.au. Pay 30 bucks for live streaming, that both isn't live, and doesn't fcuking stream ffs, because their live broadcast is an hour delayed because they can't work out that just because the game starts at 7pm, doesn't actually mean it starts at that time in every time zone ffs.

Think we may see a declaration before tea here. Wicket spinning, plenty of runs on the board. Think they may fancy themselves to get 4-5 before the close of play today. 500 run lead, declaration. He declared too late a couple of times last time, and couldn't win, think he gets more aggressive this time.
