That would be nice pxb, I was a bit premature on my bets thinking it started on the 2nd! Add Bhuvi into the mix and I am happy with my position!

Wake up folks!
There is a chance of an anomoly here. WI despite giving away half their wickets have runs on the board. Despite bowling 65% odd of their deilveries with the new ball less than halfway down the wicket are still not out of this match! I know it does seem odd but have a good look at the pitch and what it is doing. It looks worn and may well crack up. Plenty of tall bowlers around. Pretty big odds for lunch on day 2 of a Test Match in my view. Weather set fair. Light doesn't seem to be a problem. 15.5 on WI is worth a sheckle in my view. May rise higher still with Amla and DeVilliers due but keep an eye out. You heard it here first! |

Looks like Starc in for Johnson.
Pitch selected at SCG, last used 10 yeas ago in a high scoring game against SAF. Still thinking back to lay the draw. |
By:
big opportunity for Starc, he bowled like horse poo in his last test match but in the BBL he has been causing carnage since
By:
I think Starc is a good bowler and replacement for MJ but feel he is more effective in the odi arena where his height, pace and the need to score off each ball make his yorkers a potent weapon. I think he will develop into a great test match bowler particularly if he can move it away from the right handers. He has been bowling well in bbl so the timing of this is right for him.
I've gone aginst Aus again ante post. Odds on with two relatively evenly matched teams is just wrong even before teams and pitch condition is known. |

When does it start? ESPN says Tuesday, Waugh says Watson will be right to play for the game tomorrow morning?
By:
on the 6th, Tuesday

By:
Thanks. Thought so. Must have misheard what Waugh was saying about him being right for tomorrow, must have said by tomorrow...

Since 1990, India has managed to win only 2 test matches in Australia and Rahul Dravid was the top scorer on both those occasions.. I would rule out an Indian win in the fourth test, if India bats first I will start with a Australia lay as I can see them going arond 3.00 at some point of time. India's recent struggles in the test is down to their poor record in the second innings and I don't see it improving anytime soon.
Obviously Johnson out of this match, Starc is expected to replace him. Siddle may get a chance. Kohli being the captain, I expect Karn Sharma or Axar Patel to replace AShwin and Varun Aaron to come in. No matter who comes in, India can't restrict Australia within 400. Also there's a news, Saha is still injured and Dhoni attended the practice session. Fingers crossed. For those who are desperate for some money India lay is a good option! Cheers!! |

A bit surprised how short the draw has gone.
The SCG is a result venue and can't see us losing more than 30 overs from rain (with time made up). |
By:
They are saying the pitch they are using was last used against SA in a very high scoring game? Not sure how that works, unless cryogenics involved or something? fcuks me.....

is it raining why the draw been backed at 2.6?
By:
looking at the radar doesn't appear to be any significant rain likely today
By:
strange then that the draw went down so low.
By:
i ran down to a local bookie shop an got the draw at 3.25. got home and the odds are up to 2.9 now. grrrrrrr. rain forecast on 2nd day onwards. how much - who knows.
By:
haha I just put on the internet with bookie at 3.20 :)
By:
which bookie was 3.2?
By:
An Australian one.
By:
sorry, Australasian one. But they have moved price already.
By:
WTF is going on? Couldn't help but lay the draw at that price.
No rain until day four atleast from what I can see. And even then, on day 4 and 5 the rain should arrive after play has finished, much like it does in Brisbane. |
By:
forecast i saw on the web said rain possible day 2 onwards.
By:
and why are india 4.7. when was the last time they won a test match in australia.
By:
Yes but there's rain and there's rain...
imo .5 of a mm hardly classifies as rain |
By:
In fact .9 of a mm is forecast for first 4 days, then on 5th day there is 4 mm forecast which could well fall after play anyway.
Something else must have made the draw price crumble, not the weather |
By:
agree, must be a batting wicket prepared.
By:
i'm out of it anyway, bit pissed off. i thought there would be rain coming for the draw to go to 2.6 so instead of laying it, i went to a bookmaker to back it first. should have done it the other way around. would have made much more.
By:
Bold changes, some make sense to me. i would have dropped Shami for Bhuvi. Pujara is tough luck but fcek me there are a million people in that country, He should look to Sehwag. He came back from being dropped and scored the fastest triple test century. I would be unhappy if Dharwan was dropped for having a row with Kohli. He is a good player but needs to refine his Test Match technique. I'd let the ne wlid sink or siwm at the top. The pressure ight help him. Raina is a good call. Good batsman with a well known weakness. he deserves a chance to duke it out and I hope he comes out swinging.
Looking to reverse out of my bets. Aus should win from here getting first go. Pitch might dry out later |

seems odd that this new ball is doing absolutely nothing

Decent T20 start this.

I just opened an account with luxbet europe and they gave me £150 first deposit bonus. Better than the UK books! Put a bet on Aus over 449.5.
