Good intel mr lend us a fiver!! But perhaps this brings forward the declaration and the result!

Doubt it, look how slow they batted yesterday knowing rain was around. They seem content with a draw.
By:
india back in to 14.5
crazy fools |
By:
and il take the 14.5, IF auss declare .
By:
The way the Aussie batsmen disappeared then suggests they're not going to declare at all.....2-0 up,why would they...if it rains all day they're not bothered.
By:
Grey cloud as far as I can see from my high rise and the CBD has disappeared behind the rain. Also more rain this afternoon.
By:
It all looks good now on the weather front but very much doubt there will be any sporting declarations.
By:
If India want to win this they're going to have to bowl the Aussies out and then try and win from there....
By:
Charkitz the only pathetic individual is you if you support the bully boys who moan and whinge when the same
pathetic tactics are shoved back in their own faces and then try and claim the high moral ground. I tell you what is pathetic is believing you cant win without sledging. Just shows as a team you are weak mentally if you need that over talent to win. |
By:
More rain in an hour or so.
By:
09:35 Local Time, 23:35 GMT, 05:05 IST: If there is no more rain then restart is expected in 10 minutes time. It's confirmed. Play will start in 10. No overs have been lost.
By:
Wouldn't it be great if for just one test the Aussies just shut the **** up and let the cricket do the talking.
By:
looks like the worst of it has passed. The small pocket over Lara also seems to be breaking up.
By:
Interesting day ahead...
By:
not really looking at the way Australia are approaching the game.
By:
AFL the Indians are serial moaners. Every tour they go on it happens. They're too prescious.
It's not just them to be fair, society in general is more prescious these days. But the Indians take it to a whole new level |
By:
400 off 80.
wtf are you talking about tubby? |
By:
i dont understand why they dint diclare the innings when they cant score 5 runs in 5 overs
By:
By:
because australia want to secure the series
330 off 95 is under 3.5 an over on a wicket which isn't doing that match. the priority is to close india out of the match and the series. if they collapse in their 2nd dig then it's obviously a bonus, but it's clearly not the priority. |
By:
Yes, this is the frustration in Cricket. Although they don't need to win it really doesn't matter if they lose either because they have already won the series. Draws are bad for the sport and potential sponsors but nobody seems to care too much about this. Hence the explosion in T20 and death of Test Cricket.

By:
It is the culture of the 2 countries. India less aggressive culture is reflected subtly in some of the sports
they play.imo Aussie win at all cost show no respect for your opponents because it is a sign of weakness. Compare the best Aussie cricket teams from Ponting onwards to the great Wst Indian teams and the Wst Indians win hands down in talent and also how they carried themselves during the game. Comparing Class with a capital C with winning by the lowest common denominator. |
By:
If Aus declare now India will go 6-8/1* and i'll poo myself
By:
They haven't won the series, they could lose the next 2 and it will be a draw
By:
Warne talking rubbish.the last thing steve smith wants on his cv is a test defeat from a rash declaration keeping the series alive.
By:
this is why warne and slater shouldn't be allowed on together.
no-one cares about this sh1t shane. slater allows and encourages it. |
By:
I think its called double spacing. I find it easier to read with my poor eyesight. Sorry if it bothers you.

Draws are not bad for the sport. What ever happens today we've just had another four days of good cricket and with the possibility of 7-8 wickets falling in the final session their will be interest at least until the last hour. And it's not all up to Australia to force a result. The equation for India to win is simple, bowl out the tail and you have an achievable target.
By:
very rarely you see draws in test cricket these days

By:
paul allott not happy with australias negative tatics
By:
The 8/11 on the draw before the start of play today is looking monstrous now
![]() Dhoni is the most negative captain of all time though, Cook is bad but this bloke makes Cook look aggressive. |
By:
