Blimey, I should have grabbed more while it was going.

i like kohli, and i found his press conference rather amusing. his bat did the talking most of the day, and he's obviously playing a few games with johnson.
but i don't really understand why we need to have press conferences at the end of every day. this sort of sh1t is bound to spill over from the field during a match, rather than at the end of one. |

"A possible thunderstorm" seems to have got the draw moving.
Otherwise, I don't see us losing many overs. All results possible. I'll shift some of my green to India. |
By:
Draw most likely, 3 days play 18 wickets, Aussies likely to have a lead of some sort, Ywo quick wickets and some big hitting and Aus might be able to have 3-4 overs at India, end of Day 4, but that would seem very unlikely.

can som1 lay me 500 runs or more at 3.4 please.
By:
Ah India ..... Always a chance to snatch defeat from a locked in draw.
The pitch looks placid but who in their right mind wants to put $ on India lasting 85 to 90 overs on day 5? They could be 2 for 200 and you still wouldn't feel safe. Humid and overcast in Melbourne...... It should be the best bowling conditions of the match...... |
By:
hi can som1 lay me 500 runs or more at 3.3 please. it's 3.6 with betfair sportsbook and 3.5 with luxbet. thank you.

Draw is the least likely IMO. Both teams are aggressive and will play for a win at all costs. Rain only think IMO that would cause a draw unless India come out chasing 350 or so, and get to 5/100 they may start shutting up shop, which will just allow Aus to attack hard and still win.
11.50 India seems pretty juicy, but then I think we see a lot higher until Aus either declare or are bowled out. |

SecondComing
28 Dec 14 12:46 you'd think after a career best performance with the bat against one of the best cricket teams around that Kohli would be happy with his performance today, no.. instead he decides to come out in the media and have a right old whinge about the verbals on the pitch it happens is almost every series pal, grow a pair and man up spoilt brat The bonds that saw players old and new rush to his bedside. From wherever they heard the news to say their prayers and farewells. This is what makes our game the greatest game in the world. Phillip's spirit, which is now part of our game forever, will act as a custodian of the sport we all love. Right on the money as usual secondcoming |

By:
india better off not even going for a 370 off 90 overs target it to risky, and they need to avoid a 4-0 whitewash
By:
Either of these teams will generally go for it.
By:
australia are not going set under 4 runs an over for a 90 over chase, how many teams have score 4 runs an over in a test match for 90 overs overs this not many
By:
had a cheeky punt on India, expecting some early wickets. Aus should win from here though.
By:
rain coming?
By:
60 odd lead or more importantly gives aus about an hour and a half extra time....
You would think a standard day of aus running up the score at high 3's an over... That being said this ball could move around in these conditions |
By:
slip,
Aus do not need to declare to win series. I'd personally let the win go to nail the series but I don't think they will get the chance to declare. I can't see India winning from a Gary Sobers declaration here! |
By:
Have to think they will want 8-10 overs at them tonight so the goal will be to try to get 400+ in front by then. They either get there, or get bowled out trying.
Either way I look, high scoring, or wickets, the draw price is too low. Probably trade a lot lower on easy scoring, but they will be looking at scoring not because it is easy, but because they want to create a result. |

warner injured

I would eat my own ear wax if warner does not come out!
He is proper thrush but he walks the walk. Would be funny if he got out early though to a short one! |
By:
warner in slog mode
By:
Plenty of rain around, but most looks to be sweeping south. Got the radar up to keep an eye on it though.
By:
he is playing with one arm. India bowling filth
By:
india very unlikely to bowl out australia, bowling lacks penetration
By:
disagree slip. they are just bowling filth at the moment. things can change very quickly. lets see.
By:
australia will definate be going for the win 100 percent they want this 4-0 win for hughes
By:
I think Aus will just be thinking about winning this test Match, That is the way they play. If they have a chance to declare at the end of the day they might but all the batsmen will play their own game without recourse to the scoreboard. warner will biff even with one arm, Rogers will pork etc etc
By:
lucky edge
By:
They don't need to do anything stupid. They can score at 4 an over on any day, and have 75 overs to play with if they want a go at them tonight.
By:
should Dhoni be keeping for India? I am unsure!
By:
The radar suggests some rain on the way.
