The word Genius is thrown around too much in Sports. A man was cured of Paralysis from the neck down on Wednesday after having his spinal chord severed in a knife attack.... Whoever managed to make him walk again is a genius IMO. Not Pieterson, phil Taylor, Messi, Mayweather or any other sports star

Most people would equate "genius" in sporting terms to mean "better than his peers " , how much better is always open to question . Agree re those working in research etc ( not necessarily with an eye to profit) deserving the ultimate accolade , texas .
