it's about time somebody devised a piece of kit to measure the speed of the pitch, much like the greens in golf. All we hear from the hasbeen comms is that it is a slow pitch (almost every test!!)!I for one, would really find this beneficial for betting.

my main concern backing Eng would be our intent in the 2nds innings. They will not dangle a carrot & will take forever to set the target. I hate backing the draw, but finding myself doing it at the moment!

can't see them making India follow on. Anderson and Broad have been flogged to death already this series. Also, it is probably the only way that Eng can lose & Cook will not allow that

The trouble is we now only have 2 quality Test Match bowlers, now we need someone to put their hand up and joint that party, because unless Broad or Anderson are bowling, things look pretty easy for batting. Add to that a lack of any half decent spin bowler as well and we are in real trouble bowling wise, as A and B can't bowl all the time
