morning all.  Butler obviously not up to it as a test Class wicket keeper!

England unbelieveable.  First they play Prior when clearly unfit and then replace him with a player they consider not good enough for test cricket!  Worst is allowing Prior to play with an injury when it was clear he was playing to deprive Butler of his chance to end his own career.  Woeful again and smack's of too cosy a dressing room and poor management ( again the way Trott was exposed when unfit mentally was deplorable ).

I think there may well be a result here but I am heavy on the draw.  I am hoping MS Dhoni was right to play the extra batsman.  The Extremely Talented One may save his Number One Fan hereLaugh.  Ashwin for Dharwan next Test and India have a balanced side.  I really don't understand why Panesar is not playing.

Listen to TMS.  Telling Great War stories, very moving.  Hobbs didn't enlist but his brothers did. Some people didn't like it but maybe his family didn't want all the brothers to enlist.

KT,

Sometimes we forget cricket is just a game.  They take things so seriously at times with this coach that coach, psychologist's etc.  Mental breakdown try facing gas when The Bosch have sent some heavy stuff over forst to dislodge the doors and windows!  They were lambs to the slaughter.  One 17yo kid scored 280 odd on debut in his only ever Sheffield Shield game before they stopped playing cricket and he signed up and got killed.  Quite sombre really.  This is a great game to watch....lest we forget!

Groundsman logic. England 1-0 down in the series. Lets make a ground flat as fook.

Who cares as long as you make money. I need Ind to score 325+ and 425+ and Kohli to score 100.

Although it won't be much of a spectacle on the final day if it does turn in to a drab draw.

he would be, he's bowled 17 overs out of the 48 and with only Stuart Broad of any likely help to him, it will be obvious, that we would not enforce a follow on.
