i think also they should change the toss rule, you should have to earn the right by a bowl out to decide who can bowl or bat 1st

I did free money on the 4th Test. Draw Ladbrokes 15/8, lay at 6/4.

Betfair is fecking sh1t. There's money queueing up to back the draw at 2.48 and I could arb it all but it's not worth it incase it isn't a draw an I get closer to the premium charge mark. You don't get efficient prices on here anymore - Look at this morning people backing the draw at a desperate 4.8 on the exchange when 5.5 was readily available with bookmakers. There's no future for the exchange in its present state. The side markets are all dead. They advertise a poor value sportsbook ahead of the exchange which has dramatically reduced liquidity. I think it's time to move on from betting full time for me. Bye.

... I don't know why the draw is so short in the 1st place. Ishant Sharma is out of the 4th Test and I can only see more of the same even if Anderson is banned or not.

Well,
I opposed England from the start quite rightly I think. Mistake was not guaging pitch correctly at start of play day 1. My usual modus is to lay the team batting second but India had shot out by then. Laying England and batting the draw was not a bad strategy and I still think that. The game was lost when India were about 210-4. Moen Ali bowling just before Tea I think to Rohit who drives a half volley to extra. Then straight after tea Rahane pulls a long hop straight up in the air to Young Terry. A decent partnershp from those two and I think India bat long enough first innings to deprive England time to force a result. I thought England were much better from the start. Captain Co ck went on well after being dropped. His foot movement was much better and when he scores runs England do not usually lose. Anderson at last bowled a decent length and his line was better too. Broad supported and India batted woefully. That was the game. My solace is that I had an opportunity to correct my "mistake" and took it with both hands staring down a big loss to end up with a £3.81 profit for 5 days work . Rule 1 stay in the game.Looking forward to the next test. |

Started off with a lay of England too and ended up with a net loss for the second game running. Losing my touch obviously.
Need to check the weather forecast for Manchester. |
