get off the pasrk NOW cook you prik
.or have you backed the draw ??? fekkin idiot |
By:
We have seen Cook the batter improve -let's see how his captaincy takes shape over the next day and a half. Will he pile on too many and fall short of time? Will he get nervous when India get to 100 and spread the field. Will he take the spinner off after one six is hit? - should be interesting !

By:
i see no reason for england to need to bat past 3pm
By:
3.30 max
By:
Cook is doing just fine. Some of you people are on drugs.
By:
I reckon Cook will want 450 - that's the Cook / Strauss standard score to defend
By:
a lead of 400 is enough. another 20 or 30 and declare. but cook is conservative and will bat until they reach 200 and a lead of 439.
By:
they will bat till tea another hour batting
By:
India looking at perhaps 120-125 overs to bat I think, maybe 130 if England push it through after tea. 3 an over is 390?
By:
the way roots playing, we could hit 450 in half hour or so
By:
oh dear. Must consider my position now
By:
buttler wouldve had them past 450 by now, shame
By:
ive switched on england whisper but not convinced
By:
bailed on my draw back... will fly out if they declare @ 3pm
By:
lol
i have redded out just now by laying the draw.....till i get a better handle... |
By:
Yeah I think I am vunerable here. Must consider whether to take a loss now or go for glory. India not filling me with confidence. I think the decision not to enforce has been justified.
By:
full bank on england win for me, i'm not expert though
By:
will back the draw after a wicket
By:
lay draw or back england?
By:
yeah have feeling this is englands test for taking now
By:
should have half an hour at them before tea now. 40 off the next 4 overs then get bowling
By:
why are all you draw backers bailing out now ??
surely every minute that goes by without india batting reduces englands chance of winning ? |
By:
I would deffo want the openers to face 8 overs before tea if I were capt ( and I should be ). This will give the bowlers time to have a crack with the new ball, a rest, and then another crack after and the batsmen will have to settle twice. I reckon England should win whatever - no weather, plenty of runs to play with, couple of part-time spinners to mix things up - it's all in their favour.
By:
i just can't see india surviving 120? overs on this pitch
By:
agree slog everything now and declare 3.10
By:
No rush with the drinks, India have asked for a 2nd glass and a starter.
By:
i agree with cardshark
By:
or every moment that goes by is one closer to India batting.......
![]() |
By:
they will declare at tea time.
By:
half a dozen or so overs before tea would be nice
By:
Just reduced red prior to the England onslaught. Will review when India bat
By:
yeah cook will want 450 plus 50 in nxt hour should be cake
By:
450 declaration
By:
there's not a chance england will bat after tea imho
By:
India could have been 3 or 4 down by now
By:
About 100 behind
By:
cleared England red completly now
By:
i think we will have a result either way india not defenders like saffers were
By:
i think that's a wise move wd
