odds have not changed much at all during day bar few drifts

had so much time aswell, terrible effort

Well India must come in if they follow on as to avoid an England win by an Innings they must set a total so that will enusre they have a chance to win by skittling England and people will have to cover that remote possibility. At least that is my logic. If England bat again they will set India a total, which, again in theorey can be chased down.

By:
be amazed if they force the follow-on - yet we all know it's their best chance of winning
By:
atherton would do well to stop misusing the reflexive pronoun before correcting mikey on his use of less and fewer.
By:
Broad you are pathetic
By:
True Grant but if they get bowled out?
I think Dhoni has read the pitch and that is why he played Rohit. Draw was only likely result just India Batted so poorly by giving their wickets away. |

agree and cant see india batting as poor second inns

good idea - Jordan last over - just when you need to make someone play !
By:
they wont even have the option to make them follow on soon, donuts going to put on another 47 runs here
By:
ali needed to get that run out
By:
Personally think englands best chance to win is to not enforce the follow on.
By:
england need some help to win that's for sure betfairchat.
wicket will need to get harder to bat on or india will have to give it away (or a bit of both). 2nd innings approach is a great opportunity for cook to show some aggressive intent with both the bat, his side's approach and any possible declaration. |

2 balls wasted down leg
By:
jordan is shocking, problem is so is stokes
By:
I think Jordan has been OK but not so good today and surprised Cook didn't give Jimmy the last over.
By:
if only there were a player in england, with a better strike rate and average than broad or anderson in test cricket, who's performing well on the county circuit this summer, who england could call up.
By:
we expecting majour break up pitch 5th day
By:
180 overs left in this game and england at 11/10. Rather big if you ask me.
By:
i realy cant make my mind up which result to lump on now if **** was'nt captain id be on england but as always will leave it to late
By:
I think if India survive until after lunch tomorrow with adding 50 runs then it's a draw. I cannot see England risking losing the game by scoring quick runs in their 2nd innings
By:
I'll be surprised if England don't win this now unless there are any unforeseen stoppages - great bet @ 2.14
By:
Seems many other seem draw nailed on in here.but I agree Geordie
By:
Eng have to win this to stay in series.anders prob won't play next test and broad fitness will be questionable
By:
By:
you are assuming england can score at 5 an over with game not safe cook wont enforce bowlers too tired if lead about 200 then england will have 100 -105 overs to bowl india out big 1st hour tomoz after that could be pretty tame especially if india make it to lunch
By:
I think a good trading opportunity to back India here fell cook may be forced to dangle a carrot of say 400 in 4 sessions if India do bat on a longer than expected
By:
Will be very interesting to see how Cook can archive a draw from here, but if anyone can he's the the man
