effectively 1 wicket after 1 hour & can extend an hour. The draw is overdone but the weather remains a mystery!

12.40pm where I am. Time for a cheeky beer and a sausage/fried onion butty!
By:
As I was just moving small amounts of green around, I didn't check the weather forecasts.
Had I done so, I would have seen netweather is predicting 'torrential' rain till mid-afternoon. |
By:
how many overs have they lost?
By:
draw in freefall again!
By:
They have decided to take lunch early. Play will now resume at 12.25

trying times. Stand firm and hope for play after lunch. A SL win is still possible today. We shall see what transpires
By:
any more rain and the draw could go 1.1ish
By:
SA wont be bowled out in half a day! Draw nailed on.
By:
if there's no more rain, then SL will bowl 20 overs per hour, as yesterday. Approx 80 overs!!
By:
train!
By:
the bullet train at that!!
By:
seem to be rushing too much
By:
over 23 overs per hour

next wicket is mahoosive

28 Jul 14 07:20 SA wont be bowled out in half a day! Draw nailed on. I am sure if you are on the draw or SL one thing is for sure, you will be nervous till a fat lady starts singing! |

wow, was also just going to say I think I will have to reduce my draw red but the way the ball is turning I shall wait a little.
By:
i've reduced mine for a bit

more of a back to lay than anything else

this is where people lose money. Backing the draw at 1.4 & then laying at 2 or 3 when a few wickets fall & their arse falls out
By:
75 overs left!! on this over rate!
By:
*at
By:
what is the record of consecutive no runs.
34 and counting |
By:
big turn now
By:
the other thing is that the effect of the roller will also wear off a bit particularly with the amount of overs being bowled. If AB can stick around a bit it will make things difficult but once he is gone an end is opened as far as I am concerned. Amla looks like a wall and I just hope he gets one with his name on it.

lol now a run seconds after i posted

needs a spitting cobra!
By:
anybody who backed the draw sub 1.3 is feeling horrible now!
By:
what a dumb appeal! at least they used it on AB. They have to be more patient. Dumb mistake but I guess they get another with the new ball
By:
one more wicket and there is an end open
By:
By:
It does help with time at the crease but there is such pressure on the batsmen at the moment with the ball doing so much off the pitch. We haven't seen uneven bounce yet! That is to come!
