come on KP, be the hero, be the man, the man you wanna be but haven't able to be
egotistical brat |

I've got KP to be MOM at 16/1 and a KP first innings top scorer wincast at 17/1, No pressure KP....
The rest of our team are a shambles at the minute. The batters have been a disgrace in this series. I hope KP, Stokes and Bairstow can rescure us here and show the rest of the top order how it's done. |

How big a part did Carberry scoring at a run a day, play in the wickets of Root/Bell? I suspect given 1 was a run out, his batting today was about a 2.25 wicket bonus for Australia.
By:
Gee that ball is wobbling around...
By:
Johnson lbw next wicket in a close race with a runout.
By:
an ingenious but unconvincing suggestion that carberry took one or two with him by scoring slowly.
runs are at a premium, not time. |
By:
By:
And if time isn't an issue, why push for a run that isn't there? Root out to that, and these 2 have had 2 near run outs too.
By:
I doubt it. I think they would have been more worried about what the score was when they got in.
if carberry had got the same number of runs in a fifth of the balls it wouldn't exactly have set them up better. if he'd got five times the runs in the same time, that would have been better. but then that's the problem. he's not good enough to do that. |
By:
And if time isn't an issue, why push for a run that isn't there?
------ well, time clearly isn't an issue. this game's not going 15 sessions. |

By:
another 100 runs would be competitive
By:
interesting scom. no successful 200+ chase for over 50 years.
then again, aus would be hefty odds on 200 behind. |

Clarke has been very sparing with Harris and Johnsalez so far. He has to get them back on or risk the game running away.
let's see how the knees and ankles are holding up on Harris and if Mitch can handle the breeze. |

If Pakistan had the ball they would have been done for ball tampering by now! |

England make the Pakistan middle order look world class.
Do they ever play well away from the seaming minefields of home? cant play in the sub continent, cant play in Australia. they need to find a couple of saffers who want to make money. That is their only hope. |
