They will have to bat at a mere fraction above a team that has done the same thing, on the same pitch....

Funny how the 6s don't affect the odds now, but earlier in the innings they would shift the odds by 10 ticks

I am way red SA...
But those scores you talked about, show India capable of scoring at over 8.3 an over in a chase. You could well be right, but these huge scores have a habit of getting chased, because the pitch is so good and the score seems so high that they team setting the target underestimates just how good it is. |
By:
India can't chase 200 runs here... I bet on this
By:
I'm messing around. They'd all be in the top 10 though tbf. Steyn may well bundle India out early here, but you're not going to go broke backing the best batting lineup in the world at 5/1 for a trade.

300 maybe. 350, no.

India need 359 to win

The only thing that could save them is rain.

When Australia set them 359 in 50 overs, they were well within their rights to be confident. India not only chased it down in 43.5 overs, but they were 1 wicket down. 359 target, and a HUGE flogging.....
By:
that wasn't in South Africa, though.

this deck has got some grass on it and could zip through under lights

Personally, I think India either lose by plenty, or win. I don't think this goes close without them getting the result.
By:
no offence but the Australian bowling attack not in the same class as South Africa, on their home pitch as well
By:
I'll go for 220 ish all out.
By:
1.2 is a massive price at home after getting 359 with 6/7 bowling options
By:
this is not pakistani

i'm on SA at 1.7 so not feeling too bad

Im on at 1.44

and not getting out until 1.01

By:
Just for a laugh... . Think about the fact that the last 5 overs went for 84 runs. project that figure to 50 overs and we have a figure to chase of 840!

Will agree with you BJT, if India get to 20/0 in 3 overs, you wont be seeing 5/1 on India, India if they get on a run (which is every chance they could do) , would be great for a trade........

Plenty of pace and bounce in this wicket and some movement off the seam - comparisons with big Indian chases in India are meaningless here. |

Let's just see what's going to happen - and keep our wits about us.
