India have been well and truly found out today , they couldn't handle the pace and bounce , number one ODI team humbled ( and Kohli got one in the ribs , might be out for the next match ) this is a common line of argument. I suggest that it's actually their bowling that was more exposed today than their batting. If they had any half decent quicks, what's to say they couldn't have troubled the Saffers? I'm not expecting them to produce the next Steyn, but both harris and parnell were more threatening than their quicks. This wicket was like a trampoline and there was plenty of sideways movement. Their lack of pace and movement essentially turned a good bowling wicket into a batsman's paradise as it quite simply went straight and came on to the bat very nicely, rarely being troubled by shorter balls. Ishant would have been far more dangerous. |

Quinton De Kock sounds like he might struggle to win an argument against Herschelle Gibbs.
