Ground staff reckon 40 minutes to clear the covers of water.

The cut-off point is 8.30pm for a 20-20 game.

so still 55 mins yet, don't know why it's so low.

True Nickers-  but if you're approx. 1 mile from the ground enjoying the uninterrupted rain from the slate grey skies - it makes the assertion a little easier.

40 minutes to clear the covers of water?  Then take the covers off, and it will take longer than 40 minutes to then get that water off the ground, not to mention the water that isn't on the covers.

Right?

New to me.  Usually my greens are wiped out with this then I lose money in frustration on the CMM.

Dirty day, but well green.  Will take it this time... Laugh

great to see that BJT must have been backing England/laying australia to have this 1000 red , BJT might be a great supporter of Australia , but sometimes he opposes them financially Grin
happy you made some green in the CMM mate Wink

I was not at any of the Australia matches this Summer , nor did I intend to be . And I haven't been betting on them , so it's fine for me to say this . As soon as I saw that games were due to be played in late September bad weather would become a bigger issue than ever .
