if the rain stops at 7, there will be no game.

Cut off is 10.15pm. Plenty of time yet

Play allowed til 10.15, 25 overs required at approx 4 min per over = 100 mins, plus 10 mins for innings change = 110 mins. Play needs to start by around 8.25 by my reckoning.

Where are you getting this from?  There has been persistent but minor rainfall, super sopers all operating - probably take an hour max

England up against it, will in no way bowl anywhere near an over every 4 minutes.  There is also a change of innings to account for.

So basically you are suggesting this game will get a result.  You say the rain stops around 7, 1 hour clean up, leaving 2 hours 15 minutes to get 20 overs and change of innings in.

Really you seem to think you know how long it will take for clean up.  Certainly not unheard of for them to say 2 hours to get the pitch ready.
Are you guessing, or are you an expert in pitch drainage?

As I've already posted the rain has been light - supersopers are running.  you aren't looking at a lengthy clean up.

Right final post with prediction of how it is now.  6:45pm rain stops.  45 mins clean up.  Back to at 7:30pm - 26 overs a side.

Even if they restart around 8pm, rain is likely to fall again later in the evening - http://www.accuweather.com/en/gb/edgbaston/b15-3/hourly-weather-forecast/321777
