the fact that the aussies have been the underdogs from the off and are not used to winning, long way to go yet..
By:
Fascinating Test Match, even better than the first 2 for my money. Australia are getting too short now imo, a wicket will change everything.
By:
Wicket coming imo.
By:
Which is why I am mostly off here. Long way to go yet. Think these 2 stick around for a bit, but happy to lock some money away for a better opportunity.

anyone remember AShes July 2005 at Lords? Other way round. Eng obviously chasing bigger score but I remember at 80 for 0 many suggesting Eng were going to chase successfully.
All out for 180. |
By:
I can remember the first innings. England were 2/107 and bowled out for 238. Does that help your argument?
By:
that was a good ball by Swann
By:
It's not unusual in the final innings - nearly always follows this pattern and then BOOM, BANG, BOSH collapse - run-outs and everything!
By:
no they werent - Aus 190, Eng 155, Aus 384 - meant Eng needed to chase 420 which they were never going to do in a month of Sundays. They got to 80ish with Tresco and Straussy and then imposion
By:
mind you they were facing Warne and McGrath! - my point is all can seem fine and then (far too quick to do anything about it in terms of correcting position) all hell breaks loose
By:
don't understand why Cook is so defensive, fair enough they may leak runs but he needs to get 10 wickets
rain won't save him here |
By:
If a wicket falls in next 2 overs what price aussies,4/5?
By:
have you corrected your position here Corridor or are you still all-in on Eng?
By:
as i have said before all in Eng - if Aus win fair play to them and those that backed them. I reiterate I dont think they will win.
By:
and I will not change this position.
By:
Look's like Trott is doing the team talk
By:
gl to you
By:
ASAP warner is gone, it will be a completely different match
By:
'Trott giving the team a lashing ' quote Ian Healy

By:
thats whats life about isnt it - your view against someone elses. I assessed the situation, reckon I know my facts and put my position on. No one can predict the future exactly (apart from Geoffrey)
By:
Wicket imminent.
By:
you mugs have been saying "wicket coming" since they were 0/10
By:
there is only one stat that has worried me thus far. one of the TMS boys mentioned it earlier.

By:
The stat of how many shoelaces can come undone now that siht is getting crazy for England?
By:
i double checked it and he was right - statistically wickets fall at chester le street in the morning
By:
he just tied a triple knot on his laces, unbelievable
By:
Don't be fooled. It will be undone before the next over is bowled. Can't slow the RR, have to slow the over rate....

If I was Australian Broad would really annoy me - petulent knarky so and so.
By:
To be fair Roy Rogers and Trigger going along lovely here.
By:
If Broad can't keeps his boots tied then he should get Velcro straps
By:
By:
Anderson. Nope.
Broad. Nope. Bresnan. Nope. Ahh, thank fcuk for Swann. Oh siht.... ![]() |
By:
small top up at 3.5
By:
fair comment kruger - dont understand why he does it. comes across as spoilt brattish rather than anything that adds to his game
By:
a bit premature with that one! will try again at 4's!
By:
would be alot of burnt backers if Australia won this with 10 wickets remaining
