wonder how Bell is going...

England won't have been happy with 3 down at lunch, but 3 down at 3.00 wouldn't have been too bad, but they have to mop up a little have an inspection, so earliest I reckon is 3.15pm start
|
|
By:
By 315 the killer band gets there, IMHO.
|
|
By:
Going by some of the farcical rules of cricket it wouldn't surprise me if they resumed play at 3.15pm and then went off for lunch 25 minutes later!

England win the Ashes in a traditional way.. playing rubbish and relying on the british summer.

Just a cu nt then

wisewords, I can't remember them playing much rubbish, in the last series in Australia, or in the 1st two Tests, they may have had abit of luck (umpires) but my prediction of a 3-1 England victory, this summer, could well happen.

Covers coming off, and looks like the rain is going around. May get a couple of small showers, but likely to see quite a bit more play.
People seem to forget Aus bowled England out in 59 overs on a first day pitch not so long ago, and we already have best 3 batsmen out. Certainly not unrealistic from here on a day 5 pitch to get them out given another 30 overs. |

Covers coming back on. Rain got MUCH heavier. No chance of coming back for play. And even if they did, no way Australia could take 7 wickets before bad light stops play.
